Hey,

I have a question to all those who participated in the BWEs (sadly real-life prevented me until now to test for myself):

As far as I am informed, masteries are essential for some aspects of the expansion.
E.g. gliding latest tier:

Learn to enter ley-line energy flows while gliding to be moved along with the flow, gaining access to otherwise inaccessible places. (from wiki)

So I would like to know how restrictive masteries are.

Have you found out if there are “locks” in content that prevent players from participating in pve aspects? For example:

-> map completion
-> events, story…
-> combat
-> CGC – i guess there is no info out on that yet

If so, what mastery would you suggest to train first?

Frustration increases … after more hours of useless SW farming.

Another try – 3 hours of SW farming, changing maps very often. The result:

3 times yellow legend
2 times indigo legend
2 times blue legend
>>> 0 times red legend <<<

It’s just useless, it seems.

IMHO the problem is:

Even if ANet releases an expansion, what happens after that? One year without content after the expansion release? Is that really the goal we want to achieve?

I can imagine that after 1 month or 2 the flamewar “there is no new content!!!!” will begin again. I doubt there will be a 2-week update cycle after an expansion. That impression bores me alot more than the actual LS releases.

I wasted some hours of camping Red Rock again, and I am losing hope. It’s just useless.

I’d like to see ANY statement on the state of this boss. It is an achievement that depends on it. Not a stupid trash mob that nobody interests. Yes, I am afraid I didn’t play at the moment those 4 bosses were released. But now it seems I will never be able to do this achievement.

It’s just frustrating and annoying.

I already contacted the support about it. The answer was:

Please report ingame or in the forum…

So I did, but we are not informed about it if we report ingame. Did anybody have more luck?

I had a motivation break during Nov and try to do these achievement too, but that seems to be impossible. Great …
