Hi!

I have played with my mesmer in PVP but the statistics shows only 1 game played…
This is not a big concern but is a bug anyway…

Just fixed using Kyotee help:

The Fix – (Very simple)

Right click your Guild Wars 2 Shortcut you use to launch the game and select “properties”
You will notice a “target” towards the top with a line of text including GW2.exe. All you have to do is copy and paste this at the end of that text…making sure there is a space between the current line of text, and the text you are adding.

-assetsrv 62.154.232.128:80

So it should look like this when done:

“C:\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -assetsrv 62.154.232.128:80

Then hit “Apply” / “OK” and launch the game. if you still have an issue Try running it as Administrator from the shortcut. I didn’t have to do that.
The 62.154.232.128:80 is just one of Arenanet’s download servers from a list to be found here:
http://gw2status.de/

You may need to try a different server IP if you are not in NA.

I’m without antivirus (totally uninstalled)…
I’m without windows firewall (fully disabled)…
I’m restarting the modem each 10 min, using ipconfig/release, ipconfig/renew, ipconfig/flushdns…
I’m using Google DNS and still impossible to connect the server.
What else is needed to run this client???
Last time after an update the client worked properly. Do I have to wait next update?

Following support help, I run the pingplotter application and sent the report. As result, the support said I’m suffering from packet loss and that should contact my internet service provider for further assistance…
I’m playing GW2 for almost 2 years, I can play a lot of games, access internet and work at home (my company uses Citrix application with strong security)….
That’s really sad…
I’ll request my internet service provider to change my modem. Here it may take some weeks…

Yesterday, after uninstall the AVG and switch off the windows firewall the client connected but today even with this procedures I cannot play…
Re-assign a new IP did not help.
Please help!

I’m trying to start the client so far without success…
The client just says “Connection erro(s) detected. Retrying…” but keep at the same stage.
I tried to switch off the antivirus but still with same error.
My internet connection still working and I can play another games.
Please help!

I don’t know if somebody already posted this but i think would be nice to have also textures when choosing equipment dyes. Something like “Rock Texture”, “Oak Texture”, “Leather Texture”, “Carbon Fiber Texture” or even “Chrome Texture” with a mirror effect…

Actually I do not receive any error text. I have 6 characters stuck at loading map screen. The game do not show the POI discovered while loading the map, totally freeze…

I cannot change maps… Now almost all my chars are stuck on loading map screen…
