I do think they have been working on it for some time before the annoucement, BUT it does not feel that way. I look at cronomancer and at tempest and they both seem to be at the same development stage, despite being what 3 months apart? And they don’t seem finished either, and I’m talking more than just adjusting numbers.
One week later, disabled instead of fixed. Hope HoT is playable at least 3 months after its release.

It could be made so that only players that award 60 points are counted. Or just add a cooldown
Really like the scoring periods idea. But whatever changes are made, I feel like they should focus on promoting fights, and to an extent, open field battles. Awarding kill scores could be great for this.
I just felt the need to post after I saw this topic, because this is exactly how I feel.
As a player who’s been around since beta, the only thing that I feel directly affect me, now that we’re done with 2/3 of the blog posts, is the WvW tournament. AND even still, what I really got from it its that my server will have to LOSE 2 weeks on PURPOSE just so that we’re not crushed on in a HIGHER and therefore BETTER tier and still recieve LESS rewards.
So the second feature patch so far has given me 2 weeks of NO FUN ALLOWED just so I can have a chance of having fun in the upcoming weeks.
Lets just hope they turn it all around this last week, but lets face it, what are the odds?

The dialogue about latrines in LA has more going for it then any line I’ve ever seen from her. Not to mention the stupid LUL SOO RAMDUM way she acts.
I just dont get it. I dont even GvG, but I can relate to this complain, just add an item that does the exact opposite of the buff and thats it. Just like a karma buff or something. If you wanna GvG: buy it for 1c, it lasts for 20min and thats it, if you ignore it… well then nothing changes for you and you can play your WvW like anyone else.
Is there a reason why this can’t be done, other then just “I dont wanna”?
