I’m still low level but that’s definitely something I’ll bear in mind. I always try to reuse items unless I’m low on cash and can sell them for decent prices.
It’s really handy but is something I think many people tend to overlook. I never did it much myself (I had an overabundance of jewels up until I started working with mithril) but now I try to transmogrify up as much as I can so I don’t have to buy jewels to work with.
I’m still only at 23 (I’m not much of a gamer so I end up slacking!) so hopefully this will help me level up a bit faster when I eventually get to that stage! Also, you can buy jewels? I assumed they were only discoverable by mining etc.
I was really interested in the Sylvari race before the game was released but after making one in the beta I was a bit disappointed. It may sound superficial but there weren’t as many options for designing a character as I’d hoped. Really hoping extra options are added at some point in the near future because I’d love to have a Sylvari alt.

I’m pretty sure that discoveries are recipes that you find out for yourself by experimenting with different substances and materials in your inventory.
