[Suggestion] Dual / Tri-Spec

Since Raids launched I thought it might be nice to have a dual spec or Tri-Spec in the game. Some people like playing PVE as full zerker and suddenly they have to raid and have to switch out their gear and change their spec in order to do healing, condition damage or whatever they need to do. This takes a bit of time.

The character in the image I’m actually busy working on so please dont pay attention to my noob armor and stuff.. Its just to show the point I have with Dual / Tri Spec.

Dual Spec – You purchase with gold or gems.. probably gems as ArenaNet do the same with bag slots, bank slots etc.
Tri-Spec is just a third Spec. Say you have Condition damage gear and now you want to play Zerker and suddenly someone needs a Healer.

How this will work.. You choose on your Specializations bar what spec you want to be in. Click on 1 and it will register with Equipment 1. Once you click your character’s look and items change on the fly. The same with Click on 2 and it register with Equipment 2 etc etc..

PvP Panel not working

I get this alot since after the end of Season 2 and its even worse now with HoT… Why does my PvP panel work 1/10 times and the other 9/10 times it doesnt? Any way to fix this… Maybe redesign how you can enter PvP?

Dont tell me that the problem is on my side as I have just downgraded from Windows 10 as I had very bad gaming issues with that back to what I originally had.. Windows 7. Back in 2012 when I started to play GW2 I had no issue at all to enter. I feel that this is a game issue and not a user issue. Why can I enter everywhere in Tyria with a normal loading screen 10/10 times and in PvP not?

and my log file.. Ive tried the method explained exactly, but it keeps giving errors. 3 days now.. cant play.. 3 days behind on my Ascended gear, farming, dungeons, HoT progression… and what will I get ingame for this inconvenience once I can play? Nothing….

So the video will have to do. I have no idea how VPN works.. Im not a IT person. I dont want to struggle fixing a game.. i want to click and play and log off when Im done. Thats it.. The Experts should be the game developers.

Its doing something now.. finally.. after waiting the whole day! ArenaNet should seriously sort out the launcher.

I have flushed my dns, restarted my router, switched between wired and Wi-Fi several times, followed the help.guildwars2 site advice on fixing this… I bet the game is totally broken.. Never had this issue since I started playing back when the game came out. Yes I have had launcher retry errors, but got passed them. This is different. My launcher stops at the point in the screenshot and doesnt want to continue at all.. Every time at the same amout of data download… There were one time I got it to 3707kb downloaded.. but thats it.

I have tried downloading steam games.. They dwnload on full speed
I have tried Blizzard games (The one I havnt updated in a while since HoT came out) They also download at full speed.

What is wrong with GW2 launcher? Lets go back to the retry errors.. Thats not supposed to happen. Look at STeam games and look at Blizzard games… NO ERRORS! Why should GW2 be any different with downloading then any other game..

Please help.. Im very frustrated.. Paying and spending money on this game and now I cant even play.. I have struggled with this for the past 5 hours tring to update every 30 minutes or so and Im giving up….

After launching the game I can play for about 5 mins without lag.. after alot of things start to go wrong. Everything starts to lag like crazy. Open world, WvW.. (PvP not tested). I cant even look at the Trading post. It tells me to Login… hahaha.. The game lets me login and at the trading post doesn’t recognize me as logged in?

The login server keeps giving issues. It will pop up randomly as I play sometimes… Like right after I entered a zone.

The Free to Play thing probably made the servers a bit too overpopulated.. Now its giving issues for us players that have actually purchased the game played the game since it first launched.

I wouldn’t mind playing through it again as I have missed a few things because of internet problems and so on… Missed a few achievements and probably alot of items I could have got.. If you want to just see the story. AyinMaiden on Youtube recorded everything since GW2 started. Theres a whole Season 1 playlist on her channel.

Magic Find, Gold Find... Any kind of "Find"

Me and some guildies discussed this on our IRC channel recently and they feel the same way I feel about this % of Magic Find, Gold find or any kind of “Find”.

Me and you as players. Does it really work for you? Is it more RNG? To some players I found it feels like a social status… “Oh look I have 300% Magic Find.” Then you get the guy with 5% Magic find.. “I just got a precursor from running Edge, yay!”

Is it worth spending so much time grinding to get a high percentage on any kind of “Find”?

It doesnt matter what ArenaNet throws at me.. it still doesnt want to update. All my other MMO’s update. Why cant Guild Wars 2 do the same? I have talked to some friends here in South Africa and some of them are experiencing the same issues as I am. Just last week I had the same problem and 3 days later I could do my update. Its very frustrating. 1st ArenaNet told me to try -clientport 80.. That didnt work. After I did -diag and all seems to be fine in the reults, then they told me to try Hijackthis.. a little app to check something, but didnt use that yet coz I could update 3 days later.

IF I WANT TO PLAY I WANT TO PLAY AND NOT STRUGGLE WITH PATCHES!!!!!!!!!!

I cant even log-in atm. Its just loading when I click Log-in.. I even uninstalled my anti-virus software to check if it isnt that, buts its not. Disable even my Firewall as ArenaNet states it can be either one or both of those that can cause issue.

ArenaNet.. The problem isnt any of those. Check on your side. Blizzard Entertainment games run smooth without any issues. I can download apps etc at full speed without problems. Why should this be at its worse for everybody after this patch? Dont tell us its our computers when the problem is simply on your side. If youre saying I should check my Anti-Virus, Drivers and Firewall.. I say. Check your programming of the patch or even the entire living story release.. Somewhere theres coflict in the coding or something.. It isnt fun playing the game like this at all.. Ill rather play another game then start up Guild Wars 2 now…

To be honest.. I logged into Guild Wars 1 and I also get lagspikes here and there.

This a problem on ArenaNet’s side. Ive also checked my Firewall. Nothing is blocked. Anti-Virus is also fine. Everything on my computer is accepting, but I also have trouble logging in. I can only log in at certain times of the day and its very frustrating.

I agree Slaven.3721. Only certain time of the day I can actually play GW2.. During the middle of the day when I have the day off I can play or sometimes when I get home for about 1 hour before latency starts to fall apart. I also saw that I can play around 11PM on South African time, but also only for a while. To unlock content and make progression I need to put in more hours and I can not play for certain hours then. If this is going to carry on like this I’m also going to move to a different MMO. I dont know if this is because of a the GW2 API launching and theyre busy testing.

I also get moments where I just get connection errors when logging in or when I select a character and hit play Im stuck on the loading screen.. Sometimes I can log in completely and have lag or Im just stuck on loading until infinity. I also noticed network lag since November. At the start of November it was all fine and then suddenly lag struck. My character skills throw a disco where I can actually put some music on and animate them according to the music. After a while my character will go nuts with everything I pressed and if I were in a fight I’d be dead after all the skills spammed.

Ive been struggling to update my game client for almost 2 hours. It stopps on 2 files.

It starts off pretty fast and then suddenly it runs at 50kb/s.. a few seconds after that its at 20kb/s.. At times it keeps on running at 5kb/s until I get to a total 0kb/s where it tells me connection error.

I can watch Youtube, browse the internet and download files at my normal internet speed

I managed to complete the jumping puzzle with my thief, but had some trouble. What happens is. When I did the jumping puzzle. Right after the first platform pushes you up to the cliff. My client just lose connection: “The game client has lost its connection to the server. Please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and trying again. (Code=7:11:3:191:101)”. I logged in with my Charr warrior, waypointed to the location of the puzzle. When I get to 1st platform… This time the client crashes completely. Black screen with distorted sound coming out of my speakers. Monitor power light going on and off.. suddenly my PC restarts. Tried it twice after. 1st time restart thing and 2nd time lost connection to the server….

Other problems:
Since the Aetherblade patch the client eats up my PC RAM, GPU and CPU like crazy. Even had to lower my graphic settings. WvW, World Dragon bosses I cant even hit something anymore. My character just stands there and the buttons I pushed just dimms as I have pressed them. After the fight my character would go nuts with everything I commanded it to do.

My PC Specs: Intel i7 3.4Ghz Quad Core, 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz, Nvidia Geforce GTX560 1GB DDR5

Low FPS after April 30th patch

Yes, I have experienced very bad fps and crashes when playing WvW as well as doing world boss events on my Mac. After I run the Mac client I also need to restart my Mac due to bad performance which is pretty weird and were not like it before.
