Oh I know! Just had a good night and decided to post. =)

So I played a few games of Ranked last night with two guildies, and it was the most fun
I have ever had in pvp. Match maker was spot on, every match felt fair, even when we lost it was a close game, plenty of great fights, only one rager. And a funny thief that asked not to kill her because she was a nice person.

Op just block people that rage in team chat, they serve zero purpose and hurt the team more than anything you “might” have done wrong. I started blocking people cussing and crying in team chat, and my PvP experience improved 100% =)

I really think this is a learn to play issue ,if you place guards and refresh siege you can stop a golem rush, I have pulled a lot of guard time at water gate garri, it takes one guy/gal on the cannon to stop the rush or at least hold it back while reinforcements arrive. And seeing as you have a heck of a lot more players than us it shouldn’t be an issue to get a few trained guards, it can be boring but it will pay off 100fold.

This isn’t a YB/HoD thing… this is a WvW mobile siege issue. Few servers have a population that can defend 24×7 so what some groups do is build golems during peak hours and rush them during off hours. Once they get a critical mass there is little a server without round the clock coverage can do.

If they are spotted it usually doesn’t matter unless a server can round up 50 people in under a minute. Besides, one or two mesmers can get the golems onto a door or wall long before a scout will see them and bring down siege in a couple seconds.

No T3 keep should be able to be flipped as fast as 20+ Omegas can. It is made even worse that they can be used on all the keeps and towers on a map without having to rebuild.

Well all I can say is WvWvW is a 24/7 “war” seeing as they are not going to fix sever pop golems help the smaller sever fight against the super stacked one that outnumbers them, That also happens to not care about defending tier three keeps…. It’s really simple, if my undermanned sever can mange to have guards around the clock there is no excuse for larger severs not to do the same. I’m sticking with it’s a learn to play issue.

I think they are fine as is, sever stacking and population needs to be fixed before they take away a viable strategy from under pop severs.

Omegas are stronger than sup rams as they have better defense, can kill defensive siege and can hammer a wall. The fact that they move and can be kept up an entire week is ridiculously OP. This wouldn’t be a problem if 20+ Omegas couldn’t capture a fully upgraded T3 in a few dozen seconds. There is no part of this design that is balanced or makes any practical sense.

So my suggestion stands, reduce the longevity thus preventing piling up a ridiculous amount of mobile siege or gut the damage golems can unleash.

Make it so you can’t throw down siege and that sounds fun

You need to have ac in the city though, all those body’s in a confined place would really heat the place up plus choke points would even out the number difference between severs, giving the out manned side a chance.

This is nothing but griefers using cheats and glitches for their own personal amusement. Don’t get caught up in their tries to make this look like their doing nothing or harm noone and that it is just fun.

Let me give you a few pointers. Well i actually have no clue about the wp being contested or not, but if this is the case, then yes there will be griefers abusing that. Now also add the glitch in to Garrison from the Laurel seller, will we still think it is fun when they abuse this too?

And as answer to your Yeah but we are only killing npc. Will we still think it is funny when they constantly killing our siege sellers, armou-repairs, TP-npc and the like?

Or when the 10 omega golems we had to move to the citadel due to loosing a keep they were stored in, is t still fun?

If there is something that griefers can abuse then be sure they will try to pull it further and further. This is what griefer do. Don’t give them credit or laugh it away because it is not fun, nor is it in any way admirable what they do and they for sure is breaking the rules.

Can’t say the same for the spy’s and alt accounts destroying our golems in spawn…. Plus the kome map que spawn camping us… But no, you need to cry about 10 ppl running around citadel >.<
