It is very balanced. 3rd attack knocks you down, knockdown on activate, constant burning, etc. You can’t fight it, yet you can target it. It even has swiftness. After all, guardian skills are crap and they can’t knock you down themselves. Or chase after you without blinks. Or pull you to them.
Third attack knocks BACK not DOWN. in order for spirit weapons to cause burning they need to be traited for it. Guardian fully specced in spirit weapons has little to no defense(main one being 3 hit shield from focus) and is easily bursted down. I used to play the spec but got bursted down way too easy and so i left if for shouts/Great hammer build which can actually survive being stunned for 2 seconds.
duration of hammer 30 sec out of 45 sec CD while traited? thats giving a 15 sec windows for kill in 1v1 situation.
Im not saying its OP, but its highly annoying without focusing the Guardian using his own skill. If i go with spirit spec i will have decent results and probably win most of 1v1 fights without any knowelage.. just by buttonsmashing.
So in fact this is kind of “easy to play” builds as i see it.
Cooldown on spirit weapons start when they END not when you ACTIVATE them. So no matter if you trait spirit weapon duration or not after the weapon disappears the CD starts and it’s always 45 sec unless you trait reduced CD which brings it to 36 sec. Best case scenario is traited duration and traited CD reduction in which case hamer lasts for 30 sec and after it disappears it THEN goes on a 36 sec cooldown(45% uptime). Base values are 20 sec duration after which it goes on a 45 sec cd(30% uptime). Bare in mind people mostly take ONLY cd reduction which brings it to 20 sec duration and 36 sec cd(35% uptime).
8v8 should be gone with. It is too zergy and requires little to no strategy while promoting class unbalance.
This has to be done. 8v8 is so zergy i don’t even wanna play it.
2 changes to glory system i would like to see:
1. Bonus glory per win
I think that the win bonus should be much higher than what it is now, because people don’t really care if they win or lose-they just care about points and kills. As it is now i think i get around 30 points or something like that which i think is a very unreasonable amount. I average around 100-200 points per game and i find that bonus amount is too low. I think that winning should be rewarded more heavily and depend on time spent in the game (joining moments before game ends and your team wins should give no points unless u contributed in some way for the little time you have spent in the game). Bonus glory for winning should cap at 100 glory(maybe less but not more) and depend on % of time spent in the game(ex. game lasts for 10 minutes and you were in if for the whole time and won should net you 100 bonus glory; game lasts for 10 minutes and you joined 5 minutes late but still won the game nets you 50 bonus glory).
2. Defending the point
Defending the point should give some points while the point you are trying to defend is being contested. Plain and simple. Holding the point against 1-3 people for 10-15 second gives you absolutely nothing as it is now but helps your team in so many ways because that means there are less people in the other team roaming uncontested points and defending the captured ones. The amount for defending the point should be around 1 point per 3-5 seconds while defending.
Feel free to comment and add your own suggestions as well.
I have to agree with Ceallach, people don’t seem to understand what minimum requirements means.
It means that hardware will be able to play the game at the utmost lowest settings period. It does not mean you will be able to do everything , it does not mean you can crank the graphics to max , and it does not guarantee an “enjoyably playable” experience in all content.
7fps in large scale PvP / PvE is more playable than the game simply not running at all , so with those 7fps you have met the minimum requirements.
If you want to try and squeeze out more , then overclock your cpu and gpu , turn settings down – especially shadows , and lower the resolution.
I have the same FPS on 800*600 with everything on low and shadows/reflections off and on 1080p with everything on max with shadow and reflections on max.
I work for Texas Instruments and design integrated circuits according to performance specifications. If spec says it will work with those spec then it is expected to work with those specs, not well it works but it’s not really doing what is is supposed to, or it works but gets stuck from time to time. Selling that kind of product in my line of work would end in a lawsuit. Minimum means working at 25fps with everything on lowest settings which here is not the case. I have double the minimum requirements and still have a bad gameplay.
The box should write i5/i7 or GTFO, have your fun with your 10 fps with more than 5 people on screen otherwise.
Hi guys, could you please tell me how is game working for you with your C2Q processors? Please write your processor and your GPU and average FPS in questing and World vs World. I currently have C2D on 3.4 and game is unplayable in groups(around 10 fps), but i can get a cheep C2Q for a quick upgrade(i have gtx560Ti btw).
Please refrain yourselves from posting about i5/i7 upgrade. I don’t intend to spend 300-400E on an upgrade that i only require for 1 game, since everything else works perfectly fine as it is.
I for one think that AN should update their system requirement for this game.
First off 2Ghz dual core is not enough to run this game, not even by a long shot. I have dual 3.4 ghz and still have very bad performance(20fps questing, 10 fps group events) no matter the graphical setting i use on my GTX560Ti. They should probably warn people not to get their game unless they are rocking at least quad core i5(i am guessing Q9xxx performs almost as bad as my dual core). This game is just unplayable on dual cores and i request that it is removed from minimal requirements.
Hi guys, like most of tech support forum visitors i also have issues with my FPS. While questing i run at around 20-30 fps, while in bigger group events i go well below 10 fps.
Can any other Core 2 Duo owners post their feedback regarding this issue?
I am asking this because i am using gtx 560Ti HAWK from MSI and the GPU usage NEVER exceeds 30%. NEVER. While at the same time my CPU usage runs between 80% and 95%. I do know that my CPU IS in fact bottlenecking my GPU, but is is really doing it that much?
As for cpu i have C2DE8200@3.4GHz. So even if i potentially had let’s say i5 which would be 3 times as fast(it would not) i would have what? Hardly 30 fps in that situation? On my current medium settings?
I DO have all the newest drivers installed for every piece of hardware i own and i am microelectronics engineer. Thanks for any kind of feedback.
