How about for the thrill of the challenge? Some of the world bosses are quite hard in the normal PVE areas but other than that the Dungeons seem to be one of the most difficult PVE events to accomplish. Especially with how hard the mobs are at this time.

I tend to do the dungeons late in my leveling so most of the time all of the gear I receive is worse than what I have already accumulated. I still find them fun and worth-while in a challenging sense when I complete them however. They are just a nice break from the normal PVE grind and PVP.

One of the early beta videos posted about dungeons used this exact strategy. They separated them by the door with the switch.

When I did this, my group wiped quite a few times on these two. Finally, we were able to beat it when I (Warrior) held aggro on the Mesmer and I just continued to run in circles around one of the coffins in the main room. The Mesmer kept losing LOS on me so most of her casting abilities missed as I would run around. My group then proceeded to burn down the guy on the other side of the room. Kind of a cheap strategy but after we wiped 4 or 5 times on them, we were relieved to beat it.
