Same here 8 done (not any of the Dragon Balls) and no wings. And I wanted to flit from tree to tree like a little fairy.
Let’s hope the Devs notice that this thread has a lot more replies and views (by far) than any other F&F thread and realise they have made a mistake (once again) by ending a solo story with a dungeon. It would be nice to hear feedback from them, even better an apology and acknowledgement that their course of action has alienated a lot of players. Even better, fix F&F so it can be completed solo, but I shan’t be holding my breath for that one, just look at how the personal story STILL ends.
I’ve already had my say here, but after reading several replies I thought I’d say a bit more. We’re complaining because a “solo” quest/mission/personal story can ONLY be completed by doing a dungeon and no other way. This isn’t fair, we are being FORCED to play a style some of us do not like nor want to play. The game is designed to be played either way, so please design it to be played either way for the benefit of us ALL.
I too am disappointed that this ends with another compulsory 5-man dungeon, just like the personal story (which I have not finished, nor intend too). I’m amazed that the developers still do stupid things like this knowing full well that they are going to p**s off a lot of gamers. Why are they determined to FORCE this sort of gameplay on to people thus alienating us. I harken back to the GW days when I could do a dungeon with my heroes. I’m not against dungeons, but we all know it can be difficult to find groups. If you want to do dungeons, great, but don’t push solo gamers down that route because eventually we’ll go elsewhere or like me, reluctant to buy any additional add-ons in-case it’s all dungeon driven.
I like may others, are upset at reaching the final quest only to find it’s a dungeon requiring you to group-up, after playing the story line solo. I find it very rewarding to solo a mission as you learn a lot about different tactics, etc. which you’d miss out of playing as part of a group. I suggest that the last quest be made playable as a solo mission, just like the rest of the story line. I managed to complete GW solo and in no way did this detract from it’s enjoyment.
Finally got past this, it wasn’t easy, not by a long way and I died a good few times. The risen respawn too quickly and didn’t allow me much time to res my allies. The eye itself is quite easy to kill. I would suggest either a longer respawn time or fewer enemies. I played as a warrior with troll allies.
Has this fix been included in the latest release (Mar 26th) as I can’t see anything relating to it. I’ll be some what annoyed if the fix isn’t there.
Thanks for this Jeffrey. As requested by other people, can you look at the other nobles please, especially those at the end with the eye, I’d hate to get to this point only to be met with the same overwhelming force.
I can’t even get past the first stage, all die within seconds of the nobles appearing then I have no chance. Can this be sorted please as I cannot progress.
I intend to PM Jeffrey Vaughn (in 22 hours !!) and request an immediate fix, as ignoring this thread, as he seems to be, isn’t acceptable. The work-a-rounds suggested are all well and good, but shouldn’t be the solution to the bug.
Same issue, Warden Hywell isn’t there & cannot continue with personal story. A MAJOR bug which should be fixed ASAP. The comment from designer Jeffrey Vaughn regarding no ETA is totally unacceptable. Get it fixed !!!
