When I was checking a character that I didn’t want anymore and was going to delete It, I saw that he got a birthday gift in the mail. So I took it out and put it in the bank (without opening it). I did not realize however, after already deleting the character, that I needed that character to open the Birthday gift box and now I can’t open it with any other characters.
So Is there another way to open it or…?
Yes, This does sound like it may be the problem but how do I repair the files?
A couple of days ago I was playing without a problem at all. However, the next day I tried to get on and the launcher just comes up and freezes before it can download the patch. I assumed the problem was my firewall or anti-virus interfering with the servers. But that was not the case. I went online and found many others with the same problem. I have probably tried about 20 different things trying to fix this problem and no luck what so ever. I’m sure the GW2 support team is working on it but, has anyone found a way to get around this problem?
