Can somebody please help me with this. I have not been able to play this game with crossfire enabled due to huge fps drops when moving the camera. This applies anywhere in game, not just populated cities. Turning off crossfire solves the problem but I want to actually use my second card. I have 2xHD6850’s and the latest Application Profiles.

Crossfire STILL not working well

It seems like AMD has now completely abandoned optimizing crossfire at all. Even with the latest profile updates, there is horrendous frame rate drops when turning the camera at all in crossfire which is not a problem with it disabled. Is there ANY way to fix this seeing as they have given up on trying to fix it themselves? It is unplayable in crossfire mode.

Can anyone confirm to me that crossfire graphics card configurations are not yet fully functional with Guild Wars 2? The latest AMD profiles solved the fps problem when exiting from the map, however there is still a big fps drop when rotating the in game camera. This is fixed by disabling crossfire from ccc. All drivers are up to date and have been re-installed so that is not the problem.

This one is AMD’s fault. When they added the Xfire profile in the 12.7 CAP3, they used the beta name for the program.

The solution is to go into CCC, under the gaming tab click on application profiles, create a user profile using the pre-defined profile (drop down list at the bottom of the selections) of GW2Dev.exe and assign it to the current GW2.exe in your game folder.

Solved the issue for me. – YMMV.

Oh wow that actually worked and is a great temporary fix. Thanks for posting.

But I have a 6850 and am getting ~50fps constantly with everything on max. It may be your drivers or card itself.

Can anyone confirm whether or not Crossfire is fully supported? When I log in my fps is kind of choppy even though it says it is high and after exiting the map, my fps drops by a stupid amount.
