I get stuck on Forging the pact as well, manage to get past it by turning off the firewall in windows and my router. But now I’m stuck at a different mission

yep happens to me all the time, always the same place at the same dialogue. I solved only some of it, by turning off my windows firewall and my router firewall. I managed to get though 1 day before I got stuck at a different story point

This is just hearts of thorn missions, but ever since the expansion came out, all personal stories and hearts of thorn instance stories have the same issues.

The issue is, before I enter an in-game cutscene or cinematic, if the proper NPCs are not in the right positions, after the cutscene/cinematic, the game would disconnect. This happens most frequently in the original game, level 70-80 personal stories and so far I encountered during Season 2’s missions.
