To my mid the best way to improve some of our traits is to give them a Party-wide effect. Examples :
- Explosive Powder : Improves damage from explosions (10%) and give 3sec of partywide fury on crit (Cooldown 10sec)
- Enhance Performance : Gain 3stacks of 15sec might on Heal (Cooldown 10sec) one of these migth stacks will be partywide.
- Power Shoes : Movement speed +25% grant partywide 3sec protection on Heal (Cooldownd 15sec)
- Elite Supplies : Supply Crate has extra supplies; Elixir X lasts longer; and Mortar skills have increased range, reduced recharge, and bonus damage. All Boons will be granted for 5sec to the party on Elite use.
- Deadly Mixture : grant 3 stacks of 10sec might on crit (cooldown 10sec) with a flamethrower or elixir gun you . 1 stack of might will be granted to the party.
- Potent Elixirs : Increases elixir durations (20%). Every elixir grant a 5sec aegis to the party.
- Packaged Stimulants : Med Kit skills are more effective and benefits all elixir traits.
- Power Wrench : The Throw Wrench and Smack skills cripple foes, grant 2sec Retaliation on allies and heal turrets twice as fast. Reduces recharge on tool kit skills.
- Leg Mods : Cripple, chill, and immobilize durations are reduced (33%). Foes in the area are Chilled for 0.5 sec every time one of these alterations affects you.
Additionnally I would love to see a Boon-oriented Kit refinement with a Kit specific cooldown. Example for Kit refinement :
- Med Kit : grant 3sec party regeneration cooldown 30sec
- Grenade Kit : grant 1stack of 10sec party might cooldown 20sec
- Bomb Kit : grand 4sec Aegis to party cooldown 20sec
- Tool Kit : grant 3sec protection to party coodown 20sec
- Elixir Gun : clean one condition to party cooldown 50sec
- Flamethrower : You and your allies inflict 1sec burning on the next attack cooldown 40sec

with this Problem a play 30min/day on TP. Without this Problem I would play 15min TP/day (for the same By/Sells) and will more enjoy the open world.
Fixed in the last patch
All elite player transforms (racial and profession) now have a 1-second cooldown on leaving them. This was done to prevent unintentionally leaving through double-clicking.
My Problem here is that not only elite player transforms got this cooldown but all Ingeneer Kits too !!
After 25.jun A Ingeneer (genade kit active) with a Battle Sigil could instant switch between the Med Kit and The Grenade Kit.
Post 25.jun this same Ingeneer (genade kit active) must Wait 1s to do the same switch. This is a real nerf to some Ingeneer Might swapping Build.
Let the Kit refinement be more Team-Oriented. Give small (2s-5s) team boons (retaliation, Regeneration, Might, etc…) On kit change with a 10s Kit-individual CD
That wil not be OP and give us a oppotunity to trait for the team !!!

Has somebody tested how our Weapons work agains the Grawl shaman Bubble shield ?
- FT has 10 hits in 2 sec, does ist take 10 stacks of the shield away ? If yes, FT were the speedest way to bereak the Shamans Shield. (not the safest)
- Grenades does they break the shield if you land them on the ground under the Shaman’s Shield ? Or Must we throw our grenades ON the Shield ?
- Does the Rifle take 2 shield stacks away though his piercing attaks ? (like Rangers Bow)
- Does the Exploding pistol attak take more than 1 shield stak away
- Does the pistol trait coated bullet make tha the pistol take 2 shield staks away (or more through Explosion of the bullet)
I have no Idea on the FT. I think the grenades must be landed on the shield and not on the ground (but I’am not sure). I Think the Rifle take 2 shield stacks away per shot (but I’am not sure)

KR is Dead. It could be Ok with a 10s cooldown, but we really lost alot Team support ! our area condition cleaner is half lost ! We had instant condition cleaner and that was great !!!
I thought they will modify KR but in line of the Profession philosophy post, Boon oriented !!! (take in mind that theses aura no Boon are, look a Wiki)
A good team-oriented KR could be on a general 10s Cooldown:
- Med Kit : give 2s-3s regeneration to the team
- Bomb Kit : give 2s-3s protection to the team
- grenade kit : give 1*5s Might to the team
- E. gun : give 2s-3s reatliation to the team or better toss elixir C on yourself
- Toolkit : give 2s-3s retaliation to the team
=> I think that would make Kit refinement useful for us as for the team and not beeing Overpowerd. If you think that it is a good idea, post it on the sudgestion forum

I make a difference between Boon and the Bonus of Combos.
If you look ant the official Wiki what a Boon is http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Boon. And if you look the color of any Boon, you will realise that Stealh (as a lot of the combo Bonuses) is not a boon.
And If you look at this Boon list, witch of these may be Life savers against PvE Bosses : Aegis, Protection, Regeneration, stability, Vigor (and swiftness in some situations)
We have a reliable acces to Vigor, Regeneration (and swiftness if you count it as life saver) and which of these boon can we give our party : only regeneration !

A class that should rely on boon to keep themself and allies alive and who only have acces to a reliable source of Regeneration for the party and Vigor for themself can’t rely on the boons to keep themself and allies alive
PS : I Enjoy the Eng as It is today every day (I’t my main). I Just want to show Arenanet that there is a Problem between our class philosophy and reality

Yes we can make use of Combos and finisher like no other class I think. And it were ok for me if the philosophy stated that we make use of Combos like no other to boost and keep our party alive !
But that’s not what they wrote, they wrote that we rely on our boons to keep us (and our party) alive. Stability and Protection can’t be granted via Combo !
Today we rely on our boons to boost our damage and the damage our party But it has nothing to do with : “rely on boon to keep us alive” ! (think at Protection & Stability)

how do we do that… To my mind the boons to keep you and your allies are :
Stability, Protection, Vigor and Regeneration.
The Heal turret give us and allies Regeneration => ok, for this boon is the philosophy ok.
Traits give us regeneration but not to our group => half ok for this boon
we do not have any reliable source of Protection, we have 2 traits that grant us Protection upon Crit hit or Disabled. But in this 2 situations in PvE, Protection comes too late ! (PvP or MvM it could be ok) I find our source of Protection in Dungeons where Mobs hit very hard unreliable, you will go down with or Without Protection ! We need to have Protection before we get hit not when we are down ! And we can’t give stability to our allies
Stability : We only have a random stability, we can’t give us stability to our allies.
=> A class that should rely on boon to keep themself and allies alive and who only have acces to a reliable source of Regeneration for the party and Vigor for themself can’t rely on the boons to keep themself and allies alive
We need a good source of Protection and stability to make this Philosophy possible !
Might duration : Alchemy +20% & runes +40% ==> +60% might duration
Explosive X give 3 might for 15s => 24s with runes + Alchemy Boon Bonus ==> 6 might
Sigil of Battle give 3 might for 20s => 32s with runes + Alchemy Boon Bonus ==> 9 might
Altruism rune give 3 might for 10s => 16s with runes + Alchemy Boon Bonus ==> 3 might
==> Sum = 6+9+3 = 18 Might non Stop just by swapping Medkit and another kit !

You need Only Explosiv X + Sigil + runes. everything other is customisable !
I use such a build for 2months
It shows it’s better effetiveness with grenades/bombs and FT ! And with this setup, you can wear PVT gear and do enough damage
With my Grenadier build (30/10/0/20/10) I maintain 18-21 might without any problem
try an Eng with following runes
2*altruism + 2*fire+2*Hoelbrack
Explosive X & Sigil of Battle.
The instant swap Med Kit-Grenade (Or Ft or Bomb) let you maintain 18 stacks of might
==> Damage sucks no more
