Copperic, again… learn2read.. this post is not suppose to be a complaint; the main point of the post was my question if email authentication would be reactivated if i disabled Mobile Authentication. I simply gave the reason why i disable Mobile Authentication and gave a friendly suggestion to Anet.

Did you read my post at all ? Go try the Battlenet Authenticator for Bliz and you will know what i mean… It remembers your “location” when you log in after entering the authentication code and if you log in from the same location continuously, it wont prompt you for the code repeatly; making code requests less often unless you log in from a different location. It is more efficient like this. So ya; learn2read b4 you try to make some smart kitten comment .

Ok i just disabled my Mobile Authenticator for Guildwars 2 due to the fact it prompts me for the serial code; every single time i log in. There should at least a “memory system” like the Battlenet Authenticator, which remembers you if you’re logging in from the same location; avoiding repeated entries of the serial code. Hope Anet does something about this

Anyways can anyone tell me after i disable Mobile Authenticator, would the Email Authentication for my account be enable again ? Because the site tells me that if you install the Mobile Authenticator, Email Authentication would be disabled.

Condition/Bleed Duration CAP ?

in Necromancer

So to summarize, there is a Condition Duration Cap of 100% increase, which includes buffs you get from Food. Only exception to this rule; is Lingering Curse Trait(33%) which is not included to the overall Cap of +100%. Am i Correct ?

yep should be sticky for ppl to know and would be nice if Anet could confirm if Lingering Curse is working as intended

Btw it would be great if Anet could confirm that if Lingering Curse(+33% Condition Duration) not factoring in the overall 100% Cond. D cap limit; is suppose to be working as intended.
I wouldnt want them to ninja nerf this next time with us not knowing about it :/

Hey Valen thanks for the response …

I was testing this out in Heart of the Mist awhile ago, here was my findings: i used 30 in spite (30%) with Hemopilia (20%) and Lingering Curse (33%)
For the first test, i used 3 runes of Krait and 3 Afflicted (
30%) with a total of 113% Cond.D; then
for the second test, i used 2 runes of Krait, 2 Centaur, 2 Afflicted (
45%) with a total of 128 Cond.D
Both tests i used a “Steady Scepter” with one hit of the “Atck 1”, and there was an increase in dmg on the dummy for test 2, which shouldnt be the case if the Cond.D cap is at 100%
Then with the same setup of +128% Cond. D , i sloted in the Sigil of Agony in the scepter(
10%), totaling 138%. This resulted still in an increase in dmg which shouldnt be the case. Thus i came to a conculsion that Condition Duration had no Cap Limit.

But after hearing what you said about Lingering Curse(+33%) not being included in the Cap limit, it kinda make sense now to why the dmg was still increasing haha. Plus i didnt have time test the extra Cond. D the Rare Veggie Pizza gave, outside of the Mist. So i guess your right man haha. Thanks alot dude

Hi ! Can anyone tell me if there is a Cap/Limit on the amount of Condition/Bleed Duration percent increase; that you can get from items/traits/etc.
What i heard is there is a Cap of +100% increase in Condition/Bleed Duration; that you can get from items and traits. Anymore then 100% wont be “factored in”. Can anyone confirm this ?
Another question i have is; does Condition Duration increase from Food (Rare Veggie Pizza, +40% ConditionDuration) is included in the overall Duration Cap?

any help is much appriciated..
