All the builds are capped on crit chance.
- Staff Ele: I’m not sure how you get 99% on ele becuase it overcaps crit chance slightly with its optimal setup even so you copied something wrong from the site!
- Druid has a trait that gives 10% crit chance while flanking and uses truffle steak, so you need to take that into account.
- Radiance guardian has two traits that give 10% crit chance vs. burning foes and 15% for main-hand scepter and sword skills. Only your traps and torch 4 are at 95% crit chance.
- Honour Guardian uses accuracy sigil+maintenance oil+assassin’s amulet to reach the optimal crit chance.
The builds are optimal, you just didn’t copy the setup right/don’t understand how traits and food work! Also for reference sake, 99% crit chance in the hero panel=100% crit chance.

DH fills a DPS role and the fury it provides is a nice bonus but it shouldn’t replace the rev. revenant can access cc much easier than guardian can without having to kitten its DPS e.g using bane signet like you suggested. so overall DH is a great choice for a dps slot and offers some small but nice utility, but I wouldn’t try replace rev with it
So, I saw a dev post about fractals being stepping stones to raids. No thank you. Please keep raids well away from fractals.

lol, clearly you have a warped definition of what is hardcore if you think Arenanet has put out true hardcore content.
Oh I didn’t even notice I forgot to mention rev. Imo revenant is essential to have for every group. It provides fury and protection with ease and does good dps at the same time while having great cc capabilities. A lot of people think commanders(or full boon duration) chronomancer and say another tempest instead of a rev is way better dps when in fact the gap between the two is really small. I think its a really bad idea for unorganized groups especially to not take a rev because fury issues are commnon in pugs and rev simplifies that. Overall though I think that every group should have a revenant too and personally I would never run without one.
People always complain that " my class isn’t wanted I can’t raid" even though atm all the classes that fill dps roles are pretty close to each other. It’s still funny to see how most pugs are still demanding tempests even though a decent thief would definitely out dps an average tempest while providing big cc contribution.
What should every raid group have? A chrononancer to provide quickness + alacrity while tanking if needed for that encounter. 2 phalanx strength warriors to provide might, empowered allies and banner buffs along with average personal dps. 2 druids (preferably dps variants however most groups probably require 1 full healer at least which is fine ) druids are there to provide grace of the land stacks, spirit buffs, spotter,fury,good cc, maintaining scholar rune bonus on party members , as well as fairly good personal dps if you play Condi/power variant. The other slots are open for dps professions which vary from encounter to encounter, generally it involves a mix between reapers, tempests, dragonhunters and thieves/daredevils.

The actual kill only took ~4 hours, fennec was tanking in a different group while we took a break so he was tanking for 6

Don’t get me wrong, I’m still really excited for raiding especially since I didn’t get to test it out this weekend.
I’m mainly just venting some frustration, because I feel like anet actually did make an effort for raids but bugs such as the ones seen this weekend really let them down, time after time.
In any case I really hope there is another chance to test raiding before hot hits or at least that they can iron out all the major issues before launch.
I mean, it’s bad enough that the raids had to be disabled in the first place, but these things happen I guess so I got over it and moved on. But seriously, randomly re-activating them at ridiculous times for Eu(4am and 2am) is just a real screwover…. Either leave the raids activated with the Ui bugs in place, or keep them deactivated for the weekend as was stated. This just added real insult to injury to the situation of the raids not even being testable for 90% of players.

Hey everyone, I have an update regarding the availability of raids.
Due to the issues we experienced yesterday with the Enhance Squad UI and with further internal discussion, we have made the very difficult decision to keep raids turned off for the remainder of the beta weekend.
We are continuing to investigate the issues and also looking into options that would allow us to get more testing on these features before we release.
We thank you for your patience and understanding.
I’m disappointed, but not surprised.
This is honestly getting ridiculous... Every time I skim through these voting threads people argue over another 100 pointless things they find ’wrong’ with the rules. I really don’t see the need to have so many votes and rule changes considering record runs are pretty much stale and dead at this point. It also humours me to see that 80% of the people changing the rules either don’t do records, or never have done or don’t even play the game anymore. I really don’t get the big deal over this, people are overthinking and nitpicking small things just to create a discussion,these threads are really becoming pathetic to read when half of the comments are people flaming each other too. I’m agreeing with many others that the rulset should be Reset to that decided at the last meeting, and that every few months meetings to adjust rules if needed will suffice. In the meantime if any questionable cases pop up let the record approvers decide amoung themselves, they were assigned their role for a reason, so let them do it.

So, for most of these ESL PvP events that take place players are granted the ‘’call of the mists" Buff granting them bonus Rewards and points from PvP games during the time the tourney takes place. While this buff is just a small token to players during these events, I feel it would be nice to have something similar for PvE during events related to PvE, The upcoming trio tourney would be the most obvious example. Not sure what bonuses it could give, maybe 20 tokens extra per path during this time? Or 10% bonus gold from dungeon reward chests. Anyway I’m not sure exactly how they would do it but personally I think it’s a cool idea and would be a nice move from Anet to support PvE a bit more. Anyway was just an idea I had, Thoughts and feedback are more than welcome.

I retain that the timer should start when you damage not just Bloomhunger, but any of its spirits as well. That said, good kill time.
I see where you’re coming from, and tbh I kinda agree but when other bloomy records pre-killed the spirits, we felt it fair to do so also

Maybe you should have used it in your record instead of just talking about it, according to nearly every post I see of yours , you claim to have ‘created’ or ‘used’ every tactic before anyone else. On a sidenote I don’t see the waypointing technique being used in this POV which significantly speeds the NPC up, at least for p3.

I’m only going to say one thing on this matter-Whether or not there is/isn’t inaccuracies with timers and the overall time for the path, it’s up to the moderators of the site to give the final opinion on path time/whether it’s restricted or not etc. I see the arguments over times here pointless, if someone authorized to approve records sees this as 3:03 rather than 3:02 then we can adjust the time, however until such a decision is made(if it is) arguing over the time here is futile. The final say will come from gw2dungeons.net, not any of us.
I have taken a weeks break here and there from the game, even fortnights away but after I return the boredom just comes back after 1 or 2 days
hi Everyone,
As a Gw2 player from betas I have loved this game every step of the way,sure there’s bugs and issues, but they were minor things that didn’t really affect my enjoyment of the game.
However I’v come to the point where I just find myself bored, and that boredom has driven me to frustration towards a game I once loved. I have every character at level 80 fully equipped with nearly all of them full ascended(weapons and armour included) some I have even leveled twice or three times out of sheer boredom. I have cleared dungeons so many times I can play them in my sleep, doing all of them in 3 hours or less and now with nothing to spend gold on, I can’t find any reason to do them. fractals is the much the same, however with the broken loot tables they aren’t even worth the effort. I don’t care for Zerging mindlessly in WVW and I have farmed team arenas with friends the last few weeks and am finally bored of that too.
I suppose the point of this ‘rant’ is for my question to be answered: what am I supposed to do now ? I am extremely bored and just can’t see any reason to play this game any more, I doubt I’m alone on this.
