Whoever made them, I’m sorry but they aren’t great designs. I would highly recommend that the original designers go look at other games high end armour and get some better inspiration. (NOT world of crapcraft).

When we first saw Twilight/Eternity, some of the other cool legendary weps, we really liked those and people originally thought “woah awesome” .. but this, this is lacking a lot.

Our guild has plenty of weirdos, join the fun. Also definitely join if you’re a metalhead we’re collecting them.

Is anyone else getting this, you talk to the NPC in DR, and it enters you then the loading screen goes to the Winter Wonderland one then it switches back after a few seconds and then goes to load DR and then gives you a server is full message?

Edit: ALL OF THE WINTERSDAY INSTANCES ARE BUGGED. Unfortunately you just have to keep spamming until you get in one that doesn’t have problems. Anet are aware of it but they seem too busy to fix it right now because of the other bug that’s resetting everyones options upon login.

Gyve of Madness is probably the base armour that we need. You can see it in the wardrobe.

No one can figure the recipe out still, either it’s a special drop that takes a lot of grinding to get or it’s a crafted item.

Anet a clue would be nice but probably won’t get one. ._.

I think people have wasted like nearly 1k gold on trying to figure this out now in that reddit thread.

I am having the exact same problem after this update. Even on Necro, tried literally -everything- and even changed my drivers, checked my network, re-installed the entire client from scratch, virus checked, I have done everything, it’s the client, I am on AMD, never had a problem before on anything but now I have 7 fps when I log in. I have tried so much, even cleared all of my temp files on everything. -____-

Where did I say pink was for women -only-? In simpler terms, I mean that I’d like to see pink commander tags as it would be nice for some girls whom mostly like pink, as pink is a colour a lot of girls generally go for, I don’t think many female players would want to bother spending all that money on something if it’s not going to catch our eye, thus introducing more colours (I’m not even arsed about pink specifically, it’s just a personal preference choice) more people would be more likely to buy it. It’s not even specifically women, I just said that because that’s what the original topic was anyway.

Anyway the above remark to Elessar was an inside joke only my guild members that have read this would understand and nothing than a mere bump. <3

^ Yeah. I’m surprised there aren’t other colours actually, considering you can dye everything else in the game but you’re stuck with a fugly blue marker and yet you pay SO much for it.

This is more of a question suggestion really…

Um, so I was wondering about guilds, when I recruit people tend to ALWAYS ask me do I have some silly website or voice chat channel… To be frank, I hate having separate things for the same thing, I’d rather just keep the game/guild in one place.

Don’t get me wrong if my guild ask me they’d like either one and they’d actually use them I would get them, but we don’t, it’s just the people niggling at me outside of the guild for it.

A lot of my current members have no problem with us not having that stuff, we do dungeons fine and such without it, but some outside of our little bubble tend to rely on it, or simply some people just won’t join because we don’t have those two things. Me, personally, I think it’s silly and they’re missing out.

So I got to thinking, why don’t GW2 just implement custom guild web pages that you can view in the game and also why do we not just have a voice chat system where it’s a party but it’s a voice chat party, like another option from a regular party but it automatically connects your microphone sort of thing, obviously you could be a bit more inventive with the general idea but honestly I think it would be lovely if this moaning was just completely cut out and the game already had these tools, and I was thinking these certain things come with their own membership kind of thing, like a GW2 voice chat monthly pass, costs real money depending on what quality you’d like.

The guild web pages have every normal site/forum function in a simplified way, or you can pay for more detailed websites and able to put your own graphics and such in it.

It’s not only me that is sick of this having to shop around for 2 seperate things outside of the game, a lot of people are fed up with MMO’s just simply not having it. I don’t know why, I don’t really understand it too much which is why I ask/suggest.

I mean I don’t even know what people actually use a website for, when you have the internet in front of you if you need to look up a guide or information…?

Can someone enlighten me a bit?

Houses would be nice but only if they were useful, for example using cupboards and draws to be actual storage slots. Nice little way of organizing I suppose, though the idea of having a guild and a room inside a guild hall is probably a bit better, considering it’s called Guild Wars 2. >.>

We are currently looking for mature and friendly people to become a member in our guild.

We are avid players and we log on for at least 5 hours a day, currently we just accept anyone and everyone hoping to fish out some quality players so we can team up and do stuff later on. We aren’t a big guild, we just decided to do this and I have a history of successfully running guilds in previous games.

Our core group at the moment is 3 people, we get on rather well most of the time, we are all 20+ years old, we maintain a friendly atmosphere in the guild and try to help others as best as we can.

We are all old MMO gamers, we’ve seen and done everything. We recently just finished being fed up with Aion Online and moved straight to here. Before Aion, there was WoW and a bunch of other MMO’s that have died or gone stale over the years.

We hope to be around for at least a few years and gain some nice members, eventually when we see a point to it we will get a website, were considering TS3 but I’d doubt not many people would bother with it as we tend to prefer typing.

A few of us are from England and generally all over the place, we don’t really like to keep a set nationality, we’re rather diverse in that way.

All we want from our members is just to be nice and have some respect for people in general, patience is nice also.

Since we are an 18+ guild, you can say whatever you like as long as you don’t upset someone. We’re rather laid back in that regard.
People ask me why 18+, well simply we don’t want more younger people roaming around as they’re more likely to cause unnecessary drama and general annoyance, plus it’s annoying for others whom are already in some kind of work offline with children already that are in our guild and they don’t want to have to deal with them even more, I’m sorry if this will offend you but it’s like any place in the world that’s 18+, so a pub atmosphere is how we’d like to keep it.

At the moment we’re mostly PvE so keep that in mind, but we will do some PvP if someone wants to organize something. Our guild is fairly social, we have quite a few ‘nolifers’ as well as casual members.

I agree that something definitely needs to be done, newer players don’t ever even have a chance of getting one with how bad it is now. I agree that it should be hard to get one but not this bad. The gold grinding is just too much, you’d literally have to play days on end without many breaks to keep up.
Not only that though but people WILL play days on end to farm the money for it and with people that have some sort of mental disorder like OCD or addictive personalities to the extreme it’s going to affect them badly — some people don’t know when to stop and look after themselves so I think it should be made a bit easier ‘cause it’s dangerous to make something so nice looking but very hard to get, certain people won’t look after themselves and it’s not really something that anyone can do anything about but if this certain thing is made easier it’s a little bit more safer for the players that just won’t stop playing until they have what they want. I guess this is just something that hasn’t been considered.

Don’t take what random inpatient losers say on the Internet to heart sweetie. Try to make some nice friends that will teach you and you can go play with regularly, it really makes the game much more fun when you have people you know and trust to play with.

I’m the same… I just can’t make myself play another race… I’m quite a girly girl so I play whatever seems to be the most aesthetically beautiful thing, I would’ve thought the Sylvari would be something I like ‘cause they’re like flowery type people but I just don’t like them, they look like shriveled up sprout people in a variety of colours. >_>

I’d trade them for elves any day ‘cause I love anything elven really. Sorry to be so negative but I’m just really disappointed with the other races.

Asura : Not cute enough / can’t tell the sexes apart sometimes / the teeth put me off.

Charr : If the female ones were less monster-ish looking then maybe, but I’m not a fan of humanoids in general.

Norn : Not enough female faces, hairstyles, and eyebrow choices for me. Plus the voices really put me off, they sound like men. If it was just a TAD bit more feminine…

So yeah, I’m just really nit-picky about stuff but it goes a long way with me because I’m very indecisive. It literally takes me hours to make sure it’s perfect and I won’t end up deleting it or changing it. ._.

^ Yeah, the laugh is a bit too much imo. Kinda reminds me of a witch a bit. >_>

Also I agree with some people here about choosing voice sets, I’d -love- a cute & adorable one but it would be far too much work to implement as all the stories are narrated by the same voice, but really it would make sense to have another 2 voice sets to choose from since you have ferocity, charm and dignity.

But I guess for me the squeal isn’t something I’d complain against as I’m for all the cute/girly stuff in the game but it does just need to tone down a tad bit. ^^
