We are an English-speaking European based community that has players from all over the world. [TAC] combats all aspects of the game with members from new to very experienced. The guild started at the beginning of GW2, being one of the first guilds on Gandara to reach the 500 member cap. Despite being new on this game we are not short of knowledge on guild management, with experience in co-leading a guild that owned both Cavalon and House Zu Helter in GW1.

At [TAC] we are friendly, helpful, social and very active; with over 100-120 out of our 500 members online at peak times, having reached over 170 online at once before. Even though we have reached our member cap, we are still looking for replacements as all inactive players are removed once a month as well as non-representing players. We also have an active Mumble server which is used to chat with other members, as well as during dungeon runs, guild missions and other events, although its use is not compulsory. Our website also includes hundreds of threads to help get to know other members and talk about related topics; which is used on a daily basis with the majority of members signed up. Furthermore, we also use a Facebook page and upcoming YouTube channel to keep our members up to date with the latest guild news and ongoings.

In the game our main focus is PvE; participating in constant dungeon runs, fractals, meta events and exploration. On top of this, we do both sPvP and WvW each week; having a long list of commanders within the guild. We also challenge full Guild Mission runs on 3 different occassions a week to ensure that our times suit everyone. On Fridays we have a fun prize event with gold giveaways, which range from Jumping Puzzle Races, Riddle Chasing, Hide and Seek, Survival Competitions, Tournaments, Beauty/Style Contests, Sharpshooting Contests, Trivia, Costume Brawl Races and more. Currently we participate in some sort of guild event every night (as well as having spontaneous events on occasion):

Monday: WvW Night 7pm BST

Tuesday: Guild Missions Repeat Run 7pm BST

Wednesday: sPvP Night 7pm BST

Thursday: Orr Farm Night 7pm BST

Friday: Fun Prize Event Night 7pm BST

Saturday: Guild Missions Repeat Run 3pm BST

Sunday: Guild Missions 3pm BST

I forgot to mention, [TAC] has also recently made an alliance with some of the other larger guilds on Gandara. We will be using this to create huuuuge events and get together for fun WvW nights. If your guild is active and interested, there is also space to join the alliance PM me in-game!

Other fun events include Jumping Puzzle Races, Hide & Seek, Marathons across Tyria and special annual events. We also challenge Guild Missions 3 times a week to ensure that our times suit everyone.

Our Mumble Server is used during Dungeons/WvW/Events and we also have an active website that is viewable to members. A Facebook page has also been created for the guild to keep players updated.

Sorry guys but this event has now been cancelled. One of our officers was banned permanently last night for “gold selling” after she advertised the event in map chat. We were only trying to bring the community together and are trying to appeal the ban for it is completely incorrect, we are not trying to sell gold but only give it away. People need to look more closely at messages before reporting. We are all devastated and feel that it’s not right for us to host this event right now. It may be back up in the future and I will revive this thread if it is.

Hey, my friend got banned last night because she was said to have been gold selling. My guild have been planning on putting on an event with gold giveaways and we were advertising this message:

“Join []’s Mega Easter Event! Over 100g of giveaways on Saturday and Sunday the 6th/7th of April. All welcome to come, more information at www._.shivtr.com”

I was shocked that she had been banned because we are not selling gold but giving it away and making the community stronger. I was wondering if there was anything that can be done about this case really soon; since she is devastated and we are meant to be hosting this tonight, we wont be able to without her. Here is the ticket number:
