ANet, please keep the internal cooldown to at least 3 seconds. I love the implementation you did for most of the 2nd expansion specialization where “you lose something to gain something” this makes the specializations feel like is a real trade-off, instead of just pure power creep.
Play video game is not about getting everything you want, it’s about making the optimal decision with the constraints of the system.
You clearly never played ele. With weaver as it is now, you don’t “lose something to gain something”. You lose everything that makes ele viable and gain nothing.
You have dual attacks on D/D too if you use weaver.
What i am suggesting is that instead of double tap they could add weapon swap to swap between main hand and offhand attunement and make it so that the first weapon swap after attunement swap doesn’t have cooldown.
This so much. But we won’t see that change in our lifetime.
From what I’ve seen before the weekend I was really hyped for the weaver. My first character was my ele back in early 2013 and it has been my main for a very long time. I changed to rev because I was underwhelmed with tempest (overcharge is nice and all but it should be a core feature of ele tbh). Now with the weaver I felt like this is my chance to get my ele back as my main. Well, I’ve had my chance of playing weaver now and man… I’m dissapointed on so many levels.
I never had any trouble with managing my elements, but now? There is a lot more to keep track of with absolutely no reward for doing so. Not only do I have to keep track of my cd’s but I also have to remember in which order I switched my elements. If I use S/D and am in fire/earth and switched to earth last, the next time I switch it will affect my main hand skills. So if I want air 4 on my dagger to either close a gap or get away from an enemy I’m just kitten out of luck, because I won’t get it the next time I switch. Without arcane I have to wait 8 seconds to get the skill I want. I am “weaving” much faster without having the weaver as a trait line while doing more damage, which kinda defeats the purpose, doesn’t it?
And as already stated multiple times, the damage is way too low to even consider the sword in any game type. If I have to get up close, I want to deal damage. I can do that more effective with the dagger. The sword doesn’t add anything. It’s not an alternative damage dealing main-hand and it doesn’t keep me alive any longer than the dagger does. I also lose my overcharge so I deal even less damage.
With how the weaver is right now I won’t play it. I’ll still play my ele as my main again tho.
You can reach the mastery point without the skimmer by logging out and back in. After that it’s some jumps with the raptor and a bit of gliding.
Herald skills and traits are on the same wheel.
How on earth are guilds supposed to complete the rush? The guild that starts the rush gets the reward. Every kitten guild in existence gets the same missions each week, so there are at least 10 guilds at any given time doing the rush. Good luck trying to activate it for your own guild. Why did you make and instance for challange and puzzle but not for rush? Our guild won’t do missions anymore until this clusterkitten is fixed.
In theory, you can rush with another guild and accept credit at the end if at least 15 from your guild complete it, I believe. Since rush is bugged, good luck getting that to work. If Anet would be so kind to tell us any workaround it would be terribly useful.
Maybe we should be making new topics instead of replying to one that is being ignored for a long time now? Is that the proper way to get someone’s attention and get an answer?

I get your point and while I think you are correct, getting to that point in the story “only” takes about an hour and you get a free weapon skin every time. Still, it should be open to every character once you completed that story step on one of your characters. pls change it anet.
I like Shiro’s voice a lot, but Glint is just terrible. She sounds like she is in der mid 50’s.
Icebow 4 didn’t make the bossfights stupid, it made them bearable. The bosses won’t suddenly get harder because we do less damage. It will just take longer to kill them. Icebow 4 didn’t break any dungeon/boss mechanics. Those were broken right from the start. It just allowed us to get faster through that mess.
You know, even without the Bug that prevents you from getting anything. 5 blooms every 30 minutes. If I want that halo over my head, I need 450 blooms. 450/5 = 90. 90 Events times 30 minutes equals in 45 hours of repetitive events. 45 hours would have been fine if the event went on for 2 weeks.
Oh and for the people who are saying that the event is for new players. Try getting any damage in there with a level 25 character, especially with a melee class.
I hate to say it, but of all the events we had up until now, this one is definitely the worst.
Don’t do the maze unless you have tons of keys for the big chest, don’t do chestfarm, don’t do vinewrath. just jump from breach to breach. 3 yellows + bags for 3-5 minutes. salvage them, sell the ectos. looking at the prizes being at about 39s per ecto though, I wouldn’t sell them until they get back to about 42-43

The LFG-Tool rolled out on September 23, 2013. They only had 14 1/2 month time for such a complex tool who can display text ingame – isn t that great.
Well we had 2 CoD, 2 BF and other stuff during that time, but the QA of Anet is tough and they don t let it pass until it s perfect.And don t forget it s still a beta, perhaps a late Alpha and they still testing what so ever.

But Seriously anet, it’s been almost a week. I actually stopped playing because of those bulldroppings (oh nice, a word that doesn’t get replaced by “kitten”. I don’t know if you guys noticed, but the LFG is actually pretty vital to the game, so fixing it would be really great.
I can’t believe that something so major still isn’t fixed nearly 5 days later. I would love to send a flood of bug reports but my fear is that the answer that I’ll get will look something like this: “Works as intended”.
How did this even happen? There were no changes to the LFG system whatsoever so how did you guys kitten it up so badly? Stop fixing kitten like water splashing where it shouldn’t and focus on the more important things.
Soooo… I’ve googled this issue and the first link brought me to this thread. Pretty old stuff… Well, I created my first Charr a couple of weeks ago and he is now entering the snowy parts of the game and I came to notice that the footprints are still backwards. I know that this is a minor issue, but it still bothers me. I would really appreciate a fix for this.
