Same exact thing happened to me. If you get the mini before the collection is unlocked it won’t count it and you can’t finish the tier IV collection.
For the Tier IV collection, I did not receive credit for unlocking the Mini Tiger Spirit from the Spirit of the Tiger achievement. I have it unlocked in the wardrobe but it hasn’t given credit towards this collection.
I completed this achievement, and unlocked the minipet, before getting to this the tier IV collection.
While working on the Nevermore IV collection you need to obtain a “Friend of the Hounds” trophy and “Friend of the Pups” trophy from the Verdance in Caledon Forest. Friend of the Hounds is from an event and Friend of the Pups is listed as being bought from the Heart NPC. However, both the event and the NPC give “Friend of the Hounds” trophy, making “Friend of the Pups” seemingly unobtainable.
Basically, Danador is selling the wrong item. Furthermore, it is possible to buy “Friend of the Hounds” from him multiple times instead of only just once like all the other precursor collection trophies.
Issuing an attack command (or using Sic’Em) to Juvenile Fire Wyvern just as it begins to create the scorched ground effect (as soon as the first patch of fire becomes visible) would cause the wyvern stop flying around and begin attacking. The fire field animation and effect would continue to grow as if it was still casting it. Occasionally the wyvern’s animations would bug out and cause it to breathe fire randomly during auto attacking after this happened. I did not specifically test swapping it out or issuing other commands though I believe it would behave similarly.
Toggling in and out of CA too quickly would sometimes cause you to retain the Celestial Avatar animations on your character outside of CA. The effect lasted ~20seconds as if you had never left CA. Graphical issue only, behavior was normal.
Natural Healing trait would sometimes not effect Bristleback or Smokescale.
Electric Wyvern – Tooltip didn’t include mention of the lightning field.
Though not necessarily a bug, the buff Natural Mender placed on your character was labeled as ‘Natural Healing’. This is a bit misleading as that is the name of a completely different ranger trait.
They do seem to be adding a lot more projectile reflection/destruction to the game, and while I appreciate the counter play, it would be nice to gain a limited way to bypass the increasing number of anti-projectile skills. My main concern with what we see so far isn’t necessarily how many anti-projectile skills are being made available but how easy they are to access for many classes. Currently, if someone brings reflection generally you feel they made a conscious decision to do so. Maybe they gave up another utility for Wall of Reflection or perhaps traited with Warden’s Feedback. A lot of the new anti-projectile skills are tied to weapons or skills that players would likely take for other effects and not the projectile protection.
Scrapper:
Defense Field – Utility – Toolbelt
Electro-whirl – Weapon
Berzerker:
Flaming Flurry – Weapon
Dragonhunter:
Deflecting Shot – Weapon
Reaper:
Death’s Charge – All Reapers
Tempest:
Shock and Aftershock – Utility – Secondary Effect
Revenant:
Warding Rift – Weapon
Field of the Mists – Weapon
Protective Solace – Ventauri Legend
That said, I doubt the Druid would be the best place for for such a mechanic to be introduced. The core class would seem like a much better fit. All we need is a very limited way to make some of our projectiles unblockable. If a warrior can shoot through a Wall of Reflection it would make sense that rangers could get access to similar counter play.
Honestly I would like for a rework of the Marksmanship minor traits to make them more significant. I know there are already a lot of ideas around for how to improve this, but simply making opening strikes unblockable (by adding that effect to Precise Strike) would seem like a decent start. This would also greatly assist us when dealing with guardians whose aegis basically counters opening strike completely as well. Other forms of unblockable projectiles could be nice but only if limited in nature. We shouldn’t be able to avoid projectile counterplay completely.
If all else fails we can at least take solace in the fact that Well of Precognition is the first skill that allows a player to make their allies unblockable. Perhaps more ways to gain unblockable will become available over time.

I completed it as my fifth daily and received no daily chest for the day as well.
(completing a 6th also gave no reward chest)
Bump: Good question.
