I applied to one of the top guilds and was told that I needed to have 150k WvW kills, GvG experience and be one of the top D/D ellies EU. This doesn’t seem like low standards to me. Maybe for others they are. But yes I am pretty kitten new to the WvW scene. Thank you for your input :p

wow these requirements, if those were to be true, they would even decline few very experienced players who might hang around 120k kills :P
but if thats how the have been around for so long, then well ok whatever works i say.

as for which server to transfer to, if you are not going to join a wvw guild, id go for t1 server, sfr or deso, at least there are public raid leads on other maps than EB (map jump is an exception obviously), cant say that for gunnars for example right now.

So I was just checking through the gemshop today and ohh anet tried it again, making money of something thats already in the game by just adding about 4 flaming effects, lol.

Hope you can still see it despite my mouse being on my character, which is just to show that it’s not the flamewrath amor.

Actually I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the same for the medium armor, but cba to look it up…

PS: pitfighter amor available for a total of 90 badges in wvw.

I would start thinking why ppl would team up against me, there could be various reasons:
one would for sure be: we are not insane and wont attack RS when outmanned
another possibility would be: your playstyle is really annoying and we want to pay you back. there is nothing wrong with your playstyle, its all allowed and stuff, its just hell of annoying.
and stop talking about siege addictives, if youre a casual player you usually dont see the point in using superior siege but when you actually play a lot of wvw you should know why, especially with the new 30 seconds no white crosses.
also 7 golems… trolol, play in the upper brackets for a bit, you might get to see 30+ golems at 1 gate
and yeah im also glad i dont have to fight your annoying playstyle anymore.

you know how you can get +5 supplys from camps/ towers/ keeps, so you have 15 supplys carrying around? so you continue your raid/ zerg and leave the tower, go into the enemy part of the map and see a dolyak running around. So you attack this dolyak without thinking anything and after the first hit you realize “ohh sh**, i have 15 supp” and no surprise in most cases you have 10 supps after the doly is dead…
its not game breaking but its just somewhat annoying.

sometimes when i come out of the water, i still have my watermask on and cannot see my weaopons/ daggers. Also i cannot see any of my skills, whether it is the lighting whip or anything else. goes away if i change weapon a couple times, but still quite annoying.

how can you set AoE on to the walls? same thing.
for the catapult behind the gate, just move your camera, works with ele as well.

i wouldnt mind going into T2 salluks, its a change, you gotta admit that vizunah is really really strong in the morning ~8:00-9:00, what is somewhat annoying.
Are we gonna see some more guild raids from you guys this week? GH, IRON, KAZ and the others or 1 more week break? looking forward to it!

who really cares? the only purpose i see in this thread is the reason why ps will drop maybe a tier or two. this will only mix up T1 and T2 maybe a bit, since T2 will be more one sided than last week, which is not bad considering fighting Vizunah is kind of annoying sometimes.
any bets already going on when RG is gonna change server again? my guess as soon as they have played vs 80 men zerg VS :P (if they come out their towers

The number should be set to 2+, 5+, 10+, 25+ with different symbols identifying the size. Give more info, rather than give it while hiding it. And refresh those sword positions every second, not every 10 secs.

no but seriously different sizes would be perfect, if it stays like this it only means for us to put 4 scouts in towers/ keeps and tell 4 players to constantly make white swords at different towers, keeps.

i dont wanna get any compliments in right now, just interested in it.
i have looked through all 6 pages of the thread so far and have not seen a single guild from elona reach. would like to know your honest opinion about a tier 1 server in europe, we have a couple guilds running around in wvw but i guess their not just as outstanding as others? at least from my point of view i feel like we got a fair amount of whipes from IRON, KAZ and so on but also whiped them some times.
like i said im not trying to get compliments in or anything, just would like to know how you (vizu, deso in particular) feel about our guild raids.

I personally remember being Golden Horde [GH] of deso being really really strong, even tho it also appears that you guys run around with 30-40 players while UvL/KdL is moving with 20-25 usually. I have not played vs RG yet but since the topic is “WvW guild”, no.
Have not seen a lot of Vizunah sadly, we hardly had problems against them except we were outnumbered by far, really far.
But looking forward to next week as well, borderlands vs GH, IRON and others

@daphoenix: So ive been playing DD ele a lot for the last few weeks, and really did learn a lot from your guide, and i was actually wondering what do you think of the asura spell “pain inverter”? it appears to me as a very usefull spell, especially against all kinds of glass canons. if it was mentioned in this thread, sry didnt read all 8 pages
