Seriously why even bother if I get more than 20 people on screen the game crashes, and then I get a death penalty to add insult to injury. Im about done with this game.
I can understand your frustration with a failed group run, but it has more to do with the group than simply placing blame on a build. I use a glass cannon Ranger build (30/20/20) combination zerk/cond gear. My observation is vit/tough only come into play if I am roaming in WvW and solo another player. Mostly in WvW you are not roaming so who cares. PvP isnt an issue, because you use a totally different gear set and build.
I dont understand your point of view. Do you want me to point out the multiple times in dugeons I am the last person standing? It has nothing to do with build and everything to do with the player. I guess you could argue glass cannon for a melee class might not be advisable. But if you are ranged and getting hit, your build has nothing to do with it.

Can we get some response from ANET such as we acknowledge there is a problem? It is puzzling that no one has come back and stated they are looking into this or not. As of now it is impossible to play this game. And it baffles me with so many people having issues no one is responding to this.
I had no issue with the game at launch through the Holloween event. It started after this as a direct result of whatever changes in patches were made. Its not my hardware or my system, the game ran fine for months prior.
Is a simple “we are looking into this” to hard to ask from ANET?

Seriously I am done with your game I cant PvP I cant WvW, I have never seen such a buggy piece of crap game in my life. Every mouse I use looses focus and control, its your stupid game server lag stop blaming players hardware.
On to better games….

In all fairness to technical support I have had it with send me this log or diagnose that. This is a problem with your game, my gaming Logitech mouse works without issue on any other game on line fps, mmo or single player.
I have messed with software settings, drivers, default windows settings blah blah blah. What is the old DOS days and I have to adjust my extended memory to get a game running? Please my work around is to pull out my laptop 2 button mouse which works fine. The cheap $5 mouse versus the $50 gaming mouse.
I’ve never seen a game with so many tweak that or tweak this to get the right fps or a mouse working. Pardon me but I am a tad frustrated.
So now I have two mice plugged in and if my 5 button default “freaks out” because of this game I grab the two button mouse and go old school.

Thank you for fixing! I logged in this morning, there was a minor update on the load screen. Then did a JP in borderlands, flawless.

So I did some testing, I believe this bug is a result of a recent patch that changed something not unlike how we got the “jumping” bug. Why do I say that?
I played since launch and NEVER had this issue with the right click mouse till 3 weeks ago and its not a hardware issue every other game I have works fine.
To be construtive it seems to happen when you turn AND mouse over target someone or something. Just test it, stand still and rotate with your right click while panning past multiple NPC, on occasion you will see the “mounse pointer” appear. In one case while holding the right mouse the “chat” icon just popped up.
If I had to guess I would say ANET changed something on targeted and as you pan past characters or NPC because of lag or whatever the server looses track of you right clicking. Now if you say this happens with no NPC on the screen or character dont forget you can target stuff half way across the map even if you cant see it. So I am not convinced the client isnt still targeting something.
I did as someone suggested and clicked promote auto target. If my theory is correct and its a targeting issue, this might explain why it seems better on my pc.
But ANET please stop suggesting its a hardware issue. I get it your technical support, you didnt code the game. But like the jumping bug, SOMETHING did get changed in code to create this bug and thats where you should look. IMO its a targeting issue.

I dont really care if I die 3 on 1, but this game is missing the sense of satisfacting when you go up against 3 enemies and kill 1. It is pointless as they just rez the one you killed. Fine rez the kill but at least give the person credit for the kill.
As it stand this game basically says, run away against anything but one on one odds.
Ok Berethos I will give you the “skill” definition. If you read my post it relates more to the defintion of fun than skill. Playing an instrument requires skill and repetition I will grant you this. I never played an instrament because I did not find the repetition aspect fun. So again my point is that I wish there was an alternative to finishing the event. Please keep in mind your talking to someone who finds turn based games fun. Where you have to think through your next move and consider the results.
The jumping puzzles in the game are fine tbh as they are not time based. When you implement a time limit you are defaulting to skill and repetition (like an instrument). I just find taking my time and thinking through a solution more fun. To be constructive again this is not taking away from others, everyone has their own definition of fun.
My point to ANET is please provide options instead of only one path. Not everyone is a musical master after all.

Ok let me be more specific, when I was young there was something called acrade games. In one of these it was a dungeon and you would try and make it past puzzles to a final dragon. It took no skill or thought, just repeating the cycle until you knew the pattern. Repeating a pattern countless times until you know what to do a specific moment requires no thought just repeatition. So you you are correct it has nothing to do with attention span or reflexes.
So I will grant you’re arguement. However it does not make for “fun” nor does it require “thought” just repetition unitl you know the pattern. If you find mindless repetition fun well more power to you. But in my book this requires no skill or thought process to figure out a puzzle.
I get that ou really can’t provide an alternitive as the internet would just post a solution if the puzzle had any thought behind it, but again it doesn’t necessarily make it fun for me to repeat the same thing over and over until I get the pattern.
Everyone has a different idea of fun, I am not saying for others this isn’t a good thing. I just with I had an alternitive to finishing all the events except doing this.

No I do not like it, as someone who is over the age of 40 I do not enjoy spastic button spamming geared to the attention spam of a 18 year old. If you had a puzzle that required thought and not mindless reflex yes I might enjoy it.
