Hey Viggen – everyone moves on if they need a better environment for their guild. If a server environment isn’t right for your people, it isn’t right for your people. We moved from JQ, and love our new home on DB. I know FIRE still respects a lot of folks on JQ from our time there including you guys. We still want to kick your butts when we see you guys – we just like you guys at the same time. Now we have some of those folks on SoR as well. Was trippy as hell seeing WARD and ACO tags with Sanctum of Rall on them!!! Hope you guys enjoy SOR!

I don’t think any of us on DB need nor want your respect. Merely an observation that your conduct is distasteful – and I will not take it as representative of your server as a whole.

SoS – nice to fight you guys again, and also impressed with TS and the other guilds that hung on after you guys stepped out of T1. (Fought you guys for months on JQ for that #1 spot). You guys still bring it!

It’s really sad if these are your forum representatives EBay – the total lack of respect for your opponents is rather disappointing, the constant excuses is even more so.

All I know is we had fun kicked some kitten – and had a lot of good fights throughout. Don’t know where you guys get these “elite” egos from – but you guys are doing a pretty terrible job of representing your server.

Question for DB. Why is there never any green in Mag BL? Are they really strong on their home BL or are you guys avoiding it this week?

With these “Blowouts” matches we haven’t been able to rally enough forces to man all of the maps. And when we do get an organized 20 – 30. Mag has very effective coordinated forces to counter groups that size. Just what I have observed, at least during NA time we just need more people on. Hope that gives you some perspective Furious beard.

One of our guys spent over an hour telling people not to grab supply at north camp so he could get it upgraded. Was very insistent we save it! Our zerg was around 20-30 most of the night … scouting and upgrading eats up some of our forces : /

FIRE has been running our drunk/naked zergs for many months on JQ and we were happy to bring them to DB. This is also the first time we ever recorded one of these!

Not quite sure why Agg is getting crap for wanting to only do a 20v20

They appear to be a guild that focuses a lot on group synergies (they don’t even recruit rangers which hurts my feelings as a Ranger Commander) and probably need that number to execute their battlefield strategies.

Wouldn’t people want to fight a guild at their full strength and capability?

Had some really great fights on SBI Borderlands before we pulled off about an hour ago. Props to SBI – you guys gave a very strong and sustained fights. Fun fights in and outside bay!
We then switched to DB BL for some more bay fighting insanity with Maguma. Crazy and fun night of WvW – keep it up!

I’m ex-Fire, still on JQ. Those that left left due to a clash of personalities, that’s pretty much it. Welcome to reality, not everyone gets along with everyone and I hope those that left are having a blast on DB. (And that they forget how to fight… <cough>) Although it sucked having my guild leave right when I was working hard to rebuild relations and move us beyond that, these things happen.

I don’t want to get into anything because as stated we do have a bright future on DB – and we have no interest in the past. But don’t say things like we forgot how to fight – that is so far from the truth and you know it. And the issues we left over go beyond personality clashes. We made our decision and are much happier for it. We have no interest in forum drama but I won’t let incorrect statements about our guild stand.

We wish the best for the handful of FIRE who stayed on JQ (and not all of those folks have left FIRE they will join us for our next game), and the same for the server as well.

Since we are new to the server – I obviously won’t speak for old school DB or the older recruiting agenda. With the change up in Tier systems – I don’t see anything wrong with any of the servers in any of the Tiers trying to get more coverage across the time zones. The best servers typically just have more people on during the most hours, and during the prime time slots its typically a slugfest where scores are usually split at approximately 1/3 per server.

If you can increase coverage without sacrificing your server community (the reason we moved to DB) I would see that as a net gain for the server.

Just to add to what Crimson said – we are a recent transfer from Jade Quarry and I think we can offer some perspective on DB and Tier 2 in general. When we decided to leave our long-time home we were really looking for a good community that also fought hard in WvW. Which is how we ended up choosing DB as our new home.

As many have stated I have found Tier 2 to be as talented as Tier 1 in many respects, the key differential is really the lack of continuous 24/7 coverage that most server in Tier 1 have. From the fights we have seen from our time here, I think any of the T2 servers could offer the T1 servers a good challenge if they could get to a similar coverage pattern. The main differences are the coverage as stated, and the larger organized zergs that are prevalent in Tier 1.

For DB in particular we could use 1 or 2 more larger organized wvw guilds for the NA timeslot to get all of the borderlands locked down. From running with the DB wvw guilds and the community they have been friendly and we have worked well with them. I think our coordination across the server will grow in time as the established DB guilds get used to how we fight, and vice versa.

I would recommend DB if you guys are looking for a good wvw community to work with. However from what I have seen, you really couldn’t go wrong with any of the T2 servers FA and TC.

I just want you to know that your naked zerg yesterday in FABL made me grin, and I used fireworks and /cry ’d on you guys when we had to unceremoniously end it a few times. Hopefully we get to have a joint firework parade again some day soon!

Great fights on FABL – we finally got to bring the FIRE naked zerg to T2 and we appreciate the support from CO and the other folks who participated! Lots of fun and flipping was had!

Score update! Keep up the good fights

Great fights TC and FA on TC BL – I would give some guilds props but I am still getting familiar with a lot of you guys. We traded a lot of keeps in the first 4 hours after reset so I can see this is going to be an interesting week!

Overall – we all had a blast for our first reset night on DB BL and are definitely looking forward to some more great battles!

The competition is really making WvW fun for me right now, and I sure hope things don’t get gooned up with this upcoming change to WvW.

This is why I’m hoping DB’s WvW core shows up pronto. If we think TC is fielding huge numbers now, we’ll poop our pants when we see it after the changes come. The boost they got after the culling patch was one of the nails in Kaineng’s coffin.

Well DB’s SEA presence is our WvW core! NA and EU has always been about fighting greater numbers while trying to retain whatever PPT we can. The influx of guilds was supposed to shore up that gap, but I dont’ think it’s to the level we thought it would be at this point. That’s not to say our other original guilds (EA, BP, etc.) aren’t awesome, it’s just that they aren’t the group that gives us winning chances.

Even with us and the other guilds, there are a lot of coverage gaps including full coverage across the NA slots. That is just going to take time to build – and get the pugs during those slots excited and focused as well.

It looks like the competition is going to be a lot of fun here, but there is also going to be a lag time where you guys learn how we do things and we learn how you do things. T2 is very different from T1 so it’s going to take a while for us to all to gel together and get things moving. I know I speak for FIRE when I say we are very excited to see what we can do in this Tier. The main thing we want is good and competitive fights – and it appears there will be plenty of those to be had!
