My own version of Test Drive I did a while ago. It simpler than Maeried.6458’s because it only focuses on the theme without trying to ape the other parts at the same time.

Frayta.4816, I direct you to my cover of the morrowind theme which is very similar, but much more easy to do. You can really do a choir with a flute:

This is a somewhat simplified version (!), I would have been able to do the complete song for two flutes, but I don’t have the time nor the motivation for that.
And the fact that you would need someone else to play it.

As I went though my Alestorm songs, I stumbled upon their version of Flower of Scortland, so here is mine, transposed for the flute.
Note that the last 6 should be a flat 7, but a natural 6 sounds is better than a 7.

Here is a piece from one of my favorite band, Alestorm!
You wouldn’t think Pirate metal would sound that good on the flute, but the accordion part is great at the flute.

Sadly, I can’t do the verses, for the same reason as always, but since the music consists only of held notes to support the voice, it is not that bad.
It gave me the idea to do more pirate song though, it’ll be great for Lion’s Arch!

Another piece of Alestorm, this time the intro of Scraping the Barrel, sounds great but sadly it is only part the flute can do.

I’ve finally been able to complete an entire song !

I always try to do my transcriptions to be as faithful to the music as possible without alterations, but some might like simpler/cut versions better.

And I found a sheet in C for Braveheart, I’m starting the transcription. Shouldn’t take too long, it is quite simple.
Well, compared to Still Alive or Dr Who, everything seems simple!

EDIT :

I had to transpose the second flute part to match the first, because of a lack of #4, but you can only notice it if you hear both the original and this version a the same time.

Edit 2 : This forum has the nasty habit to replace my " – - " with “—”, so it is difficult to differentiate 2 dashes from 3. I suggest you quote my message before copying the transcription. It will also remove any kitten that could be applied by the censure system.

Hey can someone do up notes for
Für Elise by Ludwig van Beethoven?

I am sorry to inform you that the characteristic theme from Für Elise would require several sharps that the flute can’t do. I could natural half intervals for some of them, but that would sound really weird.

Since the two flutes, the voice, and the accordion, change all the time who plays the solo and who supports, often in the middle of the melody, I just put the accordion bit where it is truly solo.

I had to cut a lot of parts that played with alterations, but the result sounds alright, if you play it at the right rhythm. Note for the 12th line, the spaces are here only for clarity, but the notes must flow without interruption.

It was easy with a sheet in C. Note that you have to change octave at the end because this piece is on 3 octaves and the flute can only play 2.

Turns out this one was pretty simple to transcribe also.

For Sally’s Song, it will sound a bit wrong, because there are a lot of accidentals.
You would need #4 and #2 (if not more) to be able to play it properly.
But at least the beginning sounds quite nice !

Here is the start of Guild Wars: Eye of the Storm. After that bit, we leave the range of the flute, and accidentals appear, but the start is really beautiful if a kittenallenging to play at the proper speed.

Here is Guild Wars Prophecies Theme, or at least what is playable at the flute.

It is a bit kitteny, but it was the best I could do.

Here is a bit of the Airbattle theme from the Red Baron, but there are too many accidentals for the full thing. The start is nice, though.

You can play it at either octave, and it is really easy, you just need the good rhythm.

Note that the second and third parts are very difficult to play properly with the flute due to the repetitions of the same note, so you can just stick to the first part and play it at the higher octave for greater effect.

^I won’t lie, the octave switches will be tricky for this one, but these are the notes for those that want it.

You know, 1 of the high octave is 8 of the lower octave, so changed a bit how you write your sheet. Same music, less octaves switches.

Just like with a real instrument, when you have several ways to play the same note, you always take the path of least effort. Then again, it is a question of preference, you might want to do 5858(23… instead, but at least I got rid of the useless octave changes.
