Thanks guys for the answer! Thats great to know that there is a option to play without elite spec, but I think it won’t change the fact that everyone is gonna use it anyway, hehe! Maybe those without HoT.

Hello. I can’t wait till new expansion comes out and I have a question, maybe some1 already asked for it, but do Elite specs will be much stronger than the standard professions like I have played with elementalist and now I have to use warhorn to be the tempest? Or its just an option to use the elite spec?

That won’t help me much, that’s the problem ;/ I want recommendations for upgrading my pc, what hardware I need to run gw2 at stable fps. How’s my video card, do I need to upgrade it too and which AMD cpu I need to play on highest settings in epic wvw and boss battles!;)

My settings are all maxed now, only char model limit set lowest and quality medium, vsync is off. Have no problems on leveling zones ~50-70 fps, but if I turn my camera fast it dops to ~30 fps. Lion arch, sylvari city ~24 fps. WvW and boss battles with crowded places goes to 10-17 fps. Also tried on lowest settings, pretty much the same, well maybe I get extra + 5 fps.
Tell me if You need more info.

Hello guys! Can someone help, if there are any pc geeks here, what do I need to upgrade for my pc to play gw2 on best graphics settings with stable fps and maxed char model limit/quality. Now I play about 60fps and 10-20 fps at boss/wvw battles and in Lion Arch (char model limit lowest/quality medium, other settings was on best quality, tried to lower down but fps pretty much stays the same. I heard gw2 have some issues with amd processors. Game uses like 40-50% cpu. But It would be way too expensive for me to change into Intel. Anyways I don’t really know if its only my processor, but other games like cs:go, crysis 3 works just fine with maxed settings.

Windows 8.1 64 bit.
MS-7623 motherboard
AMD Phenom II X6 1045T 6CPUs ~2.8Ghz
Memory 8192MB RAM
Video card Radeon HD 7870 memory size 2048, GDDR5, Core clock 1000Mhz, Memory Clock 1200Mhz, Bandwith 153.6 GByte/s.
Monitor 1080p.

Hey there, I am here to say I’m quite enjoying Guild Wars 2 how it is, I am a kind of a PvP player mostly from World of Warcraft also from League of Legends. After long brake I decided to come back to GW2 and do some crazy stuff, I mean, play, enjoy the game. I saw many players who post they are disappointed, requesting developers to change/add wow-ish like things or they will leave, here is one of my favorite – “My many hardcore friends from GW1 already left GW2”. That’s a laugh.
I love skills, mechanics, how classes are made unique from each other, gameplay, animations, environment and graphics, the choice what GW2 gives you as a player in many kinds of aspects, PvP or PvE. New patches, new stuff, keeping us busy for a long time.
So I’m looking forward to play Guild Wars 2, mainly focusing PvP. I’ll try to make some videos, entertain my viewers, I’ll make PvP montage, my gameplay, later guides, tutorials. But I also need a support from You guys!
