Are you using vent? using the control key for push to talk will cause this to happen, because control Left mouse click calls target. This gets very confusing.

Is it just me or does the bow sound like a gun? Seems like it should make a whoosh sound or something.

it’s all fixed now, fwefwefwefwe (heavy gold spammer) is blocked now, after restarting the game.

heavy gold spamming on Darkhaven, nobody could block the guy, i tried to do it manually and it still didn’t work.

Then i got a mysterious whisper, that said, just a sec, ok i got it and then game crashed.

Is there a way to disable Call Target? Using the Ctl and clicking left mouse button very annoying. If you can’t disable it, is there a way to prevent chat messages when Call Target is accidently hit? How do you cancel call target?

yes, me too. I suspect the game developers don’t use a mouse, since they had all these years to make the right mouse button work properly.

If i walk forward to turn my character around, i will fall off and die. (puzzle solving).

I use Control key for Vent push to talk. If I am talking on Vent while in a battle I inadvertantly place a target marker then everything i do shows up in chat, which is annoying to the guild chat if that was the last place i chatted or it send battle comments to the last person i whispered.

I looked at key bindings and changed the Target command from Ctl to something else and it continues to tag targets with the control key.

Key binding doesn’t seem to resolve this issue.
Is there some way I can disable the combat messages from showing up in chat?

I tried changing the Vent push to talk button, but i’ve been using it for so many years that way that even if I change the keybind for vent, i still keep hitting the ctl key by mistake and same thing happens.

Is the key bind for the Control Key indeed not working and if not, then what should i do to prevent these chat messages?

i just want to turn around to jump in the right direction, i can’t move or i’ll fall off sometimes. The left button turns the camera, so why doesn’t the right button turn the character?

I’ve played a lot of games and normally when you hold the right mouse button down it turns your character around instead of just the camera. if i want to turn my character, i have to leave the mouse and go to the keyboard, would be much faster if i could just turn around, very annoying.
