I still try it on my p/d condi thief premised on lots of in and out of stealth. It harder then before as I get far fewer traps to trigger than I used to.

Not being able to use it while right on top of an enemy does hurt the build and there many more that just dodge through the ones laid. I will give it a bit more time to adjust playstyle then might well drop traps entirely.

Same here, used them on p/d condi build. Now they are unreliable, at best, as a source of damage. I’m probably gonna swap them in favor of evade condi build because they are not worthy to have them on skillbar as they are right now

stealsth not stacking and it would have been done …

Nah man, that would be logical thinking, we don’t do that stuff around here. Better make entire skill type obsolete instead…

As someone who used traps extensively, they should have added damage to prevent perma stealth builds. But what they weren’t supposed to do was add this 1 second delay.

It makes traps unreliable as a source of damage. Yes, you can still make a trap bomb if you have time to set it up for someone to walk into it, but they are now made totally useless as an offensive tool and nobody is gonna bring skills that make ~20% of your skill bar unusable when you are the one that is on the offensive (which is a thief’s role).

All in all, bad thought out solution, which made entire skill line obsolete, to a problem, which exploited bad skill mechanics

This one time I made a forum post about how awesome the devs are, threw 16 rares into the mystic forge, and got 5 precursors out of it. True story.

No it isn’t, you’d need at least 20 rares for 5 precursors

No he doesn’t: 4 precursors from 16 rares, 1 precursor from 4 earlier precursors. Technically…

Make it so that whenever you apply a new rune to a piece of armor, it updates the “library” of available runes for that piece with that rune for free swapping down the line. Basically you would be unlocking runes for armor when you apply them for first time. No free runes and no waste of gold

To each his own I guess, but at least try to hit lvl 80 and try out some other portions of the game like WvW/EotM (think that is available from lvl 30, haven’t leveled an alt in awhile), dungeons (you will get mail invites when you hit required level for each dungeon) or fractals before passing judgement.

If they let you dye them, they couldn’t just use recolours as new skins though. And where would the sense in that be!?

They could always just rework those items so that some parts cannot be color changed. Spinal blades for example, make everything dyeable cept for the “glowing” bits on the blades…

I’m guessing what he wants is this:

-Finish personal story (with disclamer about separate story arc abour Destiny’s Edge which I think you get mails about at certain levels)
-then you get a note saying “you missed living world season 1 which continues the story after the fall of Zaithan. You can get revisit those events via gem store but now you will be directed to the first chapter of living world season 2” or something along these lines
-living world season 2 is treated like personal story: No skipping chapters, you start at first chapter and work your way trough to the more recent ones

If that is what he/she is asking, +1 from me because that is how it should be

The Betrayer, dagger or sword that looks like one of Shiro’s blades from GW1. When equipped, animation in form of purple and redish “flames” extends from it, up the arm and shoulder and ends on the chest where it forms Shiro’s crest (kinda like skill icon of Shadow Form or Enduring Toxin from Factions with crest on the chest)

Nice clean looking weapon with a nod to the lore and not too flashy animations, but one can dream right?
