I did but before the update as well. And when I change zone it usually works again.
A very small suggestion but one that I think would be worthwhile. In every other case pressing F when a window is open (dialogue box or whatever) closes said window (at least in a lot of cases) but with crafting stations it simply closes it y and then reopens it again very quickly.
Could it be made to close the window like everything else.
PS: Also, take that spoiler out of the hints for forum posting! And old movie doesn’t make spoiling it any less of a deal! :P
But actually ANet have said it should work fine on that model – https://en.support.guildwars2.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1119
For the record, I reset the SMC and it whacked my framerate up to the high 20s!! However, I think it’s been declining steadily since and in a few days will probably end up back in the high teens.
You hear a lot of debate between Warlock and Duelist. Is there an objective answer or does it depend on your build? (i.e. would Duelist be best with a crit build?)
Yes, I’ve had this happen quite a bit.
That’s interesting. This is the first I’ve heard of resetting the SMC (relatively new Mac user).
So… I have a MacBook Pro 13" bought in December 2011. I get a frame rate of about 15-20 FPS on the lowest graphics setting. Is this correct? Should I be getting more?
If so then maybe resetting the SMC would do the trick?
Guys, they are meant to be rare. If you give a shopping list way to get them, no matter how rare the crafting items, people will find a way to exploit it and make them not-so-rare.
This prevents that. I think it’s a redundant complaint to say “We’ve wasted hundreds of hours and got nothing back” from something that never promised you’d get what you wanted back – that’s the risk.
Question: Will there ever be a native OS X version?

Yes, this is unfortunately the case.
I am very grateful to ArenaNet for releasing a Mac client but if this beta period demonstrates anything it’s that we will ultimately need a native client.
I would even be willing to pay more for this client which should incentivise the work for ArenaNet – the Mac version could be slightly dearer out of the box & existing Mac users could pay an “upgrade” fee upon commercial release of a native client.
