This is the best by far.

I agree with the OP, its fine as it is. Sure its annoying if u miss your target and leap away unintendedily , but its also awesome if you time your chain without spamming, and you know you can change target and get a fleeing one or maybe even escape from incomming AOE attacks. I know its easier to mess stuff up when starting, but with practice its really functional and should not be changed, ranger is really mobile using sword, and thats whats great about it.
I still need to finish reading, but evading at the same time as the ranger does seems like big common sense to me. It’s not at all overrated, we should be able to make them dodge at least when we see a crucial need to, atm we’re powerless on keeping them alive even if we see a massive slow easily dodgeable hard hitting aoe that our pets will have to eat up, most we can do is call them back out of it and hope they catch up in time.
I’m new to the rangers forum, but has anyone ever suggested that our pets could DODGE ROLL along with the ranger? I really can’t think of a reason why they shouldn’t, this could give’em a chance to survive big AOE’s.
Totally agree with those suggestions, an aoe launch or knockback on #2 and maybe a “mercy banner” for heals on #3, I know itmight be too guardian-like but could be potentially better than vengeance in a lot of situations.
I really think that if the notes were fake, they would’ve made a statement about it by now, the complete inaction from the devs about the leaking is really odd.
Is a build like this viable in spvp? I’m new to the profession and was getting arround better with a P/D there, but I’d really like to go D/D …
Ahhh I really thought it was a bit faster! Are there any patch notes? Has anything else changed?
Just found them right in my face haha nvm, lol
