I’ve been getting the same error for the last few hours, never had this happen before today.
Thanks for making this thread OP, I agree with everything you suggested in your initial post. Concerning the power creep I know that ascended gear forced most of us to grind content we didn’t enjoy, but right now it certainly is possible to be competitive even in exotic gear. I did every rounds of our last gvgs with only ascended trinkets and weapons, I had exotic armor and barely any infusions.
In the current state of the game I’d rather have the build diversity we enjoy right now over the boring stats combination of spvp, even at the price of the gear grind ascended stuff is.

P.S: You don’t have to speak korean, they give all battle commands in English.
I’ve been having the exact same issue since the weekend, I doubt it’s on my end as I never had any problems before the last few days.
I have been experiencing big lag spikes that results in disconnects all day today while playing the game exactly as usual. I’ve been playing since release and never had problems with disconnects, also everything else on my PC / internet is working fine. I’m not sure what happened but right now the game is unplayable for me…

I recently transfered to Blackgate as well and so far I’m loving it ! There’s organised guilds fighting around the clock, a public TS server, a community website and an endless stream of enemies (Loot bags!) to kill .
I’m not gonna lie, fighting against JQ and SoS is hard, but Blackgate is holding it’s own with honnor and our commanders are quick to react and they usually priorize defense over offense( Meaning they won’t wipe at a random location and then loose the map).
I was on Devona’s Rest before I joined BG and I’m having a lot more fun here than I ever had on DR, if you spend money upgrading and building siege, you can be sure that it won’t go down without a fight !
Hey guys, just wanted to give my opinion about my recent experience in T1 NA (I recently transfered). It’s true that the numbers are much higher than what I was used to see lower on the ladder, but it doesn’t equal “mindless zerging”. Unless you roll with a PUG the guilds are all working togheter and communicate well and every squad moves with an objective in mind. It’s certainly not the place to roll with a 5 man gank group like you’d do in lower tiers, but so far the players I’ve met in T1 are all very skilled and there’s just as much fun to be had when running with an organized 20 man guild.
For players looking to experience small scale skirmishes I’d reccommend to stay away from T1, but if you enjoy large scale battles like I do, T1 is awesome !
I recently transfered to Blackgate and I’m having a blast so far ! The community here is well organized and there’s always someone to fight and allies to team up with during NA time.
I highly recommend this server to anyone looking to fight the bests alongside the bests.
Well WTH… In middle of fight in EB I got DCed after a 13 hour WvW with this message.

Just wanted to give props to both HoD and SF for not giving up even with such large number differences.
You guys keep pushing hard whatever the odds are and you got our respect for that : )
Some people on DR seems to have forgotten that not so long ago we were in the exact same postion you are in right now and even tho it sucks, keep in mind that it’s just temporary, when you get to face servers with similar numbers it will attract new people into WvW on your server as well as encourage some transfers.
As for DR, I can’t wait to see us face a server our size, I fear that constantly winning against underpopulated servers will make us soft and lazy…hopefully I’m wrong !
