Iam 23 and a semi hardcore raider. I played wow for 6 years and saw all raids. Iam playing gw2 from release and looking for a friendly and good raidguild. Iam working at day and mostly play in the evening.
i main condi ranger, nekro condi, revenant power and was able to wipe at the first raidboss at 5% with Pugs.i have full asc armor and weopens for my mains.

Yes thats true. However, i also enjoy to play the story. In addition to that i want to play the story with all new features including the elite-specializations. But its simply not fun to run over 3 years old content to be able to play the new content. that makes no sense in multiple ways of design aspects.(lore, gameplay, interaction)
From what i have read in other forums, most people agree with this and dont want to farm those points with all their characters.
I just hope that the devs will note our discussion and give us a final answer. At the momenzee have just datamining informations.
I rly dont like to grind those points if i want to enjoy a new specialisation. i play mostly pvp but i want to give pve a try again. But its just not fun to run over old maps to be able to play essential of HoT in Pve. 175 Points are huge. I spent all my Points on my lvl80 characters. I believe my Necro has the most with 55 available now.
I would be realy disappointet if i had to grind all those points for my reaper. I mainly play spvp but i also enjoy to play the story. I rly love the design of some elite-sp. but when i have to collect so many points by doing sth i dont like…. hmn. Mehh.
I guess i wouldnt give Pve a try again and stick to PvP.
Pls dont hide one of your biggest features behind a grind for Pve. Also keep in Mind, that for PvP players the grind is even bigger bec we dont have so many HP allready colected then most Pve-Players.
