Hello! I apologize if this is not the correct location for this inquiry:

Will it eventually be possible to transfer your homeserver from EU to NA and vice versa? If not, or if the ETA for this is still weeks out, is customer support willing to facilitate such transfers in the meantime?

I ask because one of the new Guild Wars 2 Roleplayers community members, Miko Vex, is moving to the USA and would like to be able to play on Tarnished Coast [NA], but is currently unable to make the switch from Piken Square [EU]. He posted about it here.

well i move to the USA hopefully start of january have my final visa interview in london this wednesday =D but i heard that i need to buy a new copy of the game when i get there as the EU version is region locked and wont work there. hence why i will need to start fresh. unless anyone knows if i can get my account changed over to a new game. not as simple for me as just changing over servers >__< but i hope i can get on TC somehow, would suck being a rper and being on a troll server

I think it’s been brought up somewhere, but an option to turn in 3-4 tokens of Dungeon A into 1 token for Dungeon B.

So if someone really wants Dungeon B’s armor but hates doing Dungeon B, he can do other dungeons and still earn his armor. But it should obviously take longer, because he’s not doing THE dungeon.

I agree with Ursan. A bunch of people from the guild I am in were having this discussion and we all agreed that it would be WONDERFUL if you could take dungeon tokens that you don’t want and trade them for tokens that you -do- want. At least then you can help your friends run through dungeons they need and still profit.

Of course, some dungeon token conversions may be harsher than others, due to discrepancies in difficulty for acquire.

Same! While I haven’t had a chance to check out the event myself yet, I’ve heard and seen plenty of wonderful things trickle down about it. It’s nice to see a challenging, but relatively straightforward puzzle available—I was never able to complete the Mad King’s Tower puzzle because I just didn’t have the hours to sit down and keep at it—so this new one appears to be great.

And the wizards hat is nice! A very merry Wintersday indeed!

Good job, ANet! You’ve got great developers, and great customer service reps too.
