Investigating? So does that mean another two weeks until it is fixed…
…that means…for two whole weeks…we can…
UNLEASH THE MOA!
Hi, welcome to McMesmers, how would you like your opponent grilled today?
…
“Lean Moa, extra crispy! I heard you now use all traitless game now.”
Elementalist + Tornado = crashed.
Confirmed.
Ironically enough, right now the Mesmer can cause any class to experience the loss of trait stats while transformed. Now Moa Bird not only kittens offensive output, if you had defensive traits it takes THOSE away too!
Just waiting for the video of someone getting downed from the Moa Bird cast itself.
And well, Eles and Engis able to down themselves by transforming with low enough health and having +vit traits. They’re going to fix this, of course, but the game is much more difficult than it should be for scholar classes right now…
Moa Bird elite for Mesmers inadvertently buffed by this. The target loses all traits for the duration!
So yes, all Transform skills got kitten’d.
Moa Bird now best non-Boss Mesmer elite until bug is patched. Losing all defensive traits is too good.
XD
Now, granted, if you survive popping Mist Form you’ll generally be fine.
Generally.
Conjures work as intended with traits. This just seems to be related to the transform skills.
I can’t tell if Tornado/Whirlpool are affected due to their inherent stat buffs.
This is also affecting any skill that removes your basic skill bar.
RtL, Mist Form and Downed 2 (though not as bad in this case) on Ele
Engi’s Elixir S.
It’s possible to down yourself if you health is low enough that, when the traited health goes away, your health goes below zero.
It’s not limited to right the lightning. Mist Form and Engi’s Elixir S also do this.

I can confirm it: you lose all trait bonuses while RtL is active, and you CAN down yourself if you have low enough health while having anything into water. Or by using it to long jump.
If we survive the RtL, we get the health back as if nothing happened…
They’ll always be around the point of 2-handed Rares for your level, and with two +stats (regular weapons give three, but the conjure stats are ever-so-slightly higher with exception to Flame Axe, which is slightly lower). They start falling off at lv80 due to exotics/legendary/ascended (no ascended weapons yet, though).
They’ll receive benefits from Stack-on-kill sigils that are already earned, but you are correct in that they have no sigil use on their own. Granted, dunno why you’d be running something that isn’t stack & swap on ele unless you have a crit-based build…
Flame Axe is high mobility (and a burn when traited) but otherwise not worth a slot.
EDIT: Keep on forgetting about the Fire Field, but it still isn’t that great.
Frost Bow has a rather painful AoE Bleed and a five-second stun with a pulse of chilled afterward.
Magnetic Shield is nice for pulling people off of walls and initiation.
Lightning Hammer is an AoE blind and blast finisher, three times in five seconds. Amazing for PvE.
Fiery Greatsword is just great for boss fights of near any size (It’s only failed at Jormag for me, and even then a FS user should be clearing mobs during the event anyway)

Yeah, they fixed the annoying Eletrocute bug, the limiting Conjure bug, and they at least fixed Dragon’s Tooth rather than just saying it didn’t have a blast finisher anyway.
I thought that the spells that EA mimics, only the earth one has a blast finisher to begin with. It makes sense in that context.
