I don’t think people are getting bored. I’m willing to bet people are just trying new things after the overhaul. Personally, I play my guardian in tournaments the most. Recently, I have dabbled into warrior and elementalist.

I don’t find that you necessarily need a guardian on the team. The thing about tournaments, that I’m sure you know, is adapting to what’s happening around you. Play your thief like you really want to. No use getting upset; it seems like you’re relying on having a guardian to win. A guardian never hurts, but no class is a requirement for winning. Lol

Norn females all day. They got the thickness. Saying the human women are better is like saying a teenage girl is better than a mature woman.

The devs need to see this thread. Not just to improve the Sylvari, but the principle behind it. This game as a whole would benefit from immersing players in the cultures of their characters.

The College of Synergetics. C’mon. Be forreal. On the other hand, I am a fan of the Inquest.

Guardians can perform pretty nice DPS as it turns out. Not as bursty as Warriors, but our sustainable DPS is quite good. And we’re very versatile. DPS to Control to Healing to Support and all the hybrids in between (but then again, we’re not the only ones). I would say that we’re the most well-rounded out of all of the classes. And personally, the fun factor is way up there. A flashy heavy armored front-liner.

The date that video was made was a while ago and a fair few things have changed since then including Spirit weapons being able to die (rather easily as well) so yeah that Video isn’t overly useful.

That video is on the older side, but the runes that Ayra is using are still perfectly viable. The only thing worth changing about that build is really the Spirit Hammer (and it’s corresponding traits). Even then, the hammer is still usable in sPvP for its glorious knockdown.

Just a video by WoodenPotatoes giving insight on this great game as a whole. I thought it would be a good idea to put this out there. Developers can always use positive feedback, whether they implement anything or not.

Intro:
Welcome, welcome one and all to The Seven Demon SiNS, or The 7, on the Sanctum of Rall server. We are a new guild looking for fun, active, ambitious members to tackle the vast world of PvE. We also like to dabble in sPvP from time to time.

Focus:
The main focus of The 7 is learning and development as a guild. From dungeon runs to crafting to lore to sPvP strategies to the end of Tyria itself, I hope to establish a guild where members work together in all aspects of the game. I do not possess extensive knowledge on the subjects, but it’s good to learn from others. Like I mentioned previously, we are a PvE oriented guild with some sPvP sprinkled on the side. That, however does not mean we are limited to only these two. With enough members and support, we could create a WvW legion, or an sPvP/tPvP team. It all depends on how everyone works together.

Rules:
We don’t tolerate discrimination, hatred, or any misappropriate/destructive conduct. Plain and simple.

Plans:
In the future, I hope to have a Mumble/Teamspeak/Ventrilo server. I also have hopes for updating the plan for the website to incorporate more features (extra forum space).
I also have plans for group end-game content.
The most important thing is for the guild to grow.
