I would really like the crystalline dragon wings glider and backpack set if anybody could gift them to me. I was farming gold to convert to gems, but unfortunately didn’t get enough. I wrote a post similar to this one and then deleted it because the wings are no longer available in the gem store. However, somebody could have bought an extra set or the wings could come back at any time, so I am re-writing this post. I really hope that I will be able to get these wings, as they’re really the one thing I’ve wanted from the gem store so much.

P.S. I’m on an NA server.

I was wondering if I could get an update on the situation of this daily from an anet employee or gw2 player as to whether or not this has been fixed yet?

It’s fixed now for me. Just able to get in also.

I am also having this same problem. Last night after the update my launcher worked fine. However, ever since the second time I opened the launcher (earlier today), all I get is the same message “Connection Error(s) Detected. Retrying…”. If I restart the launcher, then it just goes straight to this message.

I have tried all the solutions that are listed in the link MAPO.5274 posted, but to no avail. At this point I can only hope that it fixes itself or that anet releases a new patch that fixes it.

I do not know what anet’s current stance is on this issue regarding character or account-bound gold/tokens. What I do know is that in the past the rewards had been character bound, and at some point anet decided to change it to account bound. Knowing anet’s history, I doubt they will change their position on the issue, especially since they already changed it once.

P.S. I do want them to make the tokens and/or gold character bound again.

I’ve been playing since before gw2 launch, and I feel like I’m missing out by leaving 2 of my character slots empty (5 out of 7), so I’ve decided to make a necromancer. However, I don’t know what race to make it. Any ideas?

P.S. I know race doesn’t affect gameplay, just personal story in the beginning and being cosmetically appealing.

I don’t know if there’s another thread for this bug or not, so pardon me if there is.

When somebody goes to silverwastes and defeats the vinewrath, a chest pops up that they can then loot. After I looted this chest I logged out. A few hours later when I logged back in, I ended up logging back into this room with the vine walls up, thus making me use a waypoint to teleport somewhere in order to get out. (Picture of the room posted below)

I do not know if this bug of logging back into that room can be fixed or not. Since the vinewrath room is part of the map and not an instance, it is probably impossible to prevent this bug from happening unless you force everyone who logs in to a map to lose where they were. It also does not affect the game play in any way, shape, or form except by making the person who logged in spend a few silver, which I personally don’t mind. However, I would like to not have to waypoint, because it is annoying.

If you can’t fix this ‘bug’, then don’t worry about it. There are probably more important bugs, but hopefully you will be able to give a quick response. Thank you.

So i’m just going to give everyone here a different perspective on ranger real quick. If you have the time, then go to gladomer’s channel on Twitch tv. Ranger is almost all he plays, and he dominates in WvW with it (on a WvW server too). I don’t think ranger is completely useless in pvp.

So lately I’ve been wondering why many people have multiple accounts. I have only ever had 1 GW2 Account since the 3-day head-start access (or any mmo account for that matter) and I don’t know much about multiple accounts so bear with me.

I know some people do it for the character slots because it ends up being inherently cheaper than buying the slot expansions off the gem store at full price (which I believe is 800 gems, don’t quote me on this). However, by doing this nothing from that person’s first/main account is on their second account due to the fact that they are completely unrelated from each other. Also with the new Heart of Thorns expansion coming out, you would have to upgrade 2 accounts just to have all 10 (assuming no extra slots were received) characters which would end up costing the person an enormous amount of money that said person may not have, which leads me back to my original question.

Why would you buy multiple GW2 Accounts if you can’t share items between accounts and/or the cost ends up being higher (assuming you bough HoT for both), or do people still buy accounts despite any or all of these facts?
