2v2 has to be custom arena so that the community can set it’s own rules.

If it was general queue you’d have people trolling with double bunker druid w/ SNR, or double mobility thief just running laps around the arena.

The community has done 2v2 trounies in the past, and in order to make those work the community had to place build and comp restrictions to prevent people just trolling the mode.

This can be curtailed in a few ways. One of which having a cap point in the center of the map and if a team holds it to 100 points or something they win. This is so if one team runs a troll comp they have to engage or they lose.

So does this mean we are going to be able to queue 2v2s now instead of just 5v5 conquest? Am I reading it right? Curious cause no one seems to be talking about it.

Superior: Engi, Ele, Mesmer
Normal: War, Druid, Necro
Inferior: Rev, Thief, Guard(Dead last)

I’ve played gw2 for a long time but the pvp system in the game is just annoying. You either can do 5v5s and relay on your awful teamates and team fights arent all that fun in the first place or you can roam and constantly get ganked and outnumbered.

Now occasionally you happen upon solo roamers/duelers but this doesnt always happen or it takes a while to find them; this is dumb. Running around for hours looking for a fair fun fight is just stupid.

I wish there were 1v1 arena queues in the game. I just wanna do 1v1s and I don’t wanna search for hours in WvW for a good fight. Ik there are also dueling servers but those often have tons of trolls or people who just sit there and dont wanna duel. Its a shame that this game is so fun but the options for PvP are idiotic and tedious.

I pre purchased the day pre purchase was available though

I prepurchased HoT but can’t make beta character. There’s no beta character slot and there’s no create beta character button or anything….? Can someone help me

I tested it with the warrior npc in hotm, he did seem to be able to hit me once.

On my ranger his 3 auto attack chain is a an evade and a strike, I think its a 1sec evade so if i have quickness does the evade duration decrease to .5sec then? or not.

So for the whole specializations things, ill need hot?

If all i do is Wvw and sPvP, Do i need to buy HoT? I’ve never touched PvE never plan to.
