I can’t believe how much resources are poured into the new expansion at the current state of Heart of Thorns. I have been defending HoT for so long but tonight I feel completely ripped off and let down.

This makes me so sad. Raids and legendaries are what keeps me going right now. I have been farming and saving up to craft the new ones for the last months. Just been eagerly waiting for pics of the new ones every stream or other news update. This breaks my heart.

Please reconsider this decision. I get online and I play multiple hours every day, and the feeling of crafting a new shiny legendary is the best payoff out there for me.

Got stuck in Kyhlo but got out somehow after a few mins. After I won I didn’t get my 2 pips and my game doesn’t show up in the history now (was the first game I played today, I played 2 more games and got my daily participation for 3 games)

Experiencing the same thing. Couldn’t go into fractals, got stuck and had to kill the game off 3 times.

I’m very happy with my 5 account slots. And I’ll not use them for any bank contract or even permanent gemstore-items. Tarrktun-merchant, ley line matter converter, mystic salvage kits and the last two I have no idea yet

Finally. Great feature anet. I bought all five of them yesterday. Can’t understand why ppl are obsessing over having muliple Copper-fed salvage-o-matics. I mean this happening was always “a risk”. I have plenty of lvl 80’s but didn’t buy multiple gemstore-items since I was waiting for something like this. I don’t wanna spend all my gems on one kind of item.

Maybe you bought 5 salvage-o-matics and spent a lot of gems. And you were perfectly happy with this. Now 3,5 years into the game you get upset because players can buy the same comfort for 700gems per item? That’s just grudging behaviour.

And ppl wanting this feature basically for free? Wouldn’t that undermine previous gem purchases even more? I think the pricing is in line with the convenience of the item.

Hum. After like 20 minutes of trying my game client crashed. Then when I restarted it it let me in, for now.

If anyone else experience this problem, try to relaunch the client.

Rule #1 of MMO’s – Never take valuable vacation time off on any launch day.
The game in question will be:
1) late in launching (towards the end of day
2) riddled with bugs that the testers missed, and will be hot fixed several times – interrupting your enjoyment.
3) the starting areas (in this case verdant brink) will be full of so many people you will miss a lot of what’s going on.
4) server issues will arise lagging out or crashing the game
5) Trolls. So many Trolls
6) All of the above

Save that Vacation day for the following Monday (26th) and treat yourself to a Monday long weekend.

But I’m a guild leader and I want to have as much as possible set up for my fellow guildies when they log on

I wonder what time of day the expansion will release?

If it releases in the morning for me in EU I need to take one day off from work! No lost gaming time is acceptable!

Now it’s a new day and I have a new daily chest. What do I do with it?

I accidentally opened like 5 chests yesterday since I wanted to log in to all the charrs I usually gather with daily. I think I took rewards from the first two before realizing what was going on. The other rewards I deleted and then I just shut down the game early because I didn’t dare to log onto the other characters I wanted to play anyway.

Seems like my log in calendar is still a few days too far even if the bug itself is gone.

How will you fix this Anet and what should we do?

I logged in on a bunch of characters to do my daily gathering and I think I by accident opened 1 or 2 chests too much because I thought that I just forgot to grab the login the first time.

I realized that that wasn’t the case and sent in a bug report. Which I think as many as possible should do. But after sending it I opened another chest just by pure accident and reflexes.. Omg this is so bad.

I have sooo many toons and wanna do my gathering and PvP but I’m too scared to even log into any more characters and now I even have 2 daily chests pending because I swapped to a new character.

Seriously considering putting a post-it on my screen to cover it up so I don’t slip again..

Arenanet PLEASE hotfix this! I basically can’t play right now because I’m scared and don’t want further pending chests. :’(

Seriously, I’m sick of leechers in PvP.

Some of them just sits around for the whole game and some just goes afk as soon as the team is under with like 100 points. And we can’t even report them with the report tool because there’s no valid reason to pick.

And why is the dishonor system not active? We need it badly.

Bury me in my [GH] is recruiting experienced, social and active Swedish-speaking players!

We’re a PvX guild (mainly PvE I would say) with the ambition of running fractals on a daily basis. We’re not currently raiding on weekly basis but sometimes we put a team together. We do guild missions that require a group during Sunday evenings. (Trek and 1-target bounty are free-for-all during the week.)

We play sPvP and WvW too but I doubt the guild will ever be super into those areas. The majority of us are on the Far Shiverpeaks server. (>90%)

Requirements
*Social and willing to use TS for raids/guild missions
*Basic knowledge of the game (leveled a few characters and tried different aspects of the game)
*Have us as main guild for PvE/represent most of the time and be socially invested in the guild and its growth

Our guild is just not a boring roster of players, we wanna keep it small and friendly and also be able to progress through the game together. We are currently lvl 43.

I picked up a secondary account (digital deluxe edition) previous sale around the HoT-announcement and I’m 100% sure I got 4000 influence then..

I’m not sure what the item itself stated. I just clicked on it assuming I would get 4000 influence. Can anyone else let me know what the consumable says?

Me and a guildie purchased the digital deluxe upgrade a few minutes ago.
But our tomes of influence only granted 1k influence to the guild per tome.. ?

Wiki says:
The Tome of Influence is a one-time use item that adds 4,000 Influence to the guild you are currently representing.

I bought this because I wanted the Krytan armor set and the influence was a nice bonus so I’m quite dissappointed now. <.<

We’re a group of friends at Far Shiverpeaks that started a new guild in prior to the upcoming expansion. (If you don’t wanna WVW with us server doesn’t matter)
We have all played for a really long time and enjoy all parts of the game, now we’re looking for equal minded players.

We’re hoping to recruit active and experienced Swedish players interested in dungeons, fractals and sPvP.
Our vision is to be a tight, effective and small guild with active players. We want everything up and running (Guild missions and so on ASAP) when the expansion drops.

So what do I mean with experienced?
You don’t have to be super hardcore but it’s good if you have experience from different aspects of the game like dungeons, sPvP and so on.
I personally wanna get better at speedrunning dungeons and team sPvP.

Right now we’re trying to get guild bounty going so we can get some influence for everything we wanna do.

So yeah, its not my ISP fault, its something from Anet servers and/or connection with those servers. And its getting worse every day past 2 months.

As a workaround, you can try to find a VPN to reroute your traffic around whichever route is causing the problems. VPNs are not free however. Some other players have had success using a free trial of WTFast.

I couldn’t even log in right now, so finally got around to try WTFast. Installed and back in game without lag. Thanks for the tip!

Yeah. I had enough too a few days ago and I installed WTFast too. 30 days free trial. This solved all my problems so my signal don’t go through that kitten ncsoft IP I had messing up my game. My game has been smooth for 4-5 days now.

I’ll continue with WTFast and pay the subscription if needed. But I won’t spend any money on gems now since this basically is a monthly sub for my GW2.

Anet don’t care about their players, it’s so sad.

Just to be clear.. I’ll try to adjust to this PST timezone here… >.<
Patch dropped like 10:00 am dec 16. Rewards for log-in was released.
If I did log in too early, between 4:00 p.m. december 15 and 10:00 a.m december 16 – I’ll be punished and not get the first chest.

How does that even make sense?

Patch arrived.. absolutely unplayable.
Dced 10+ times since patch was released 80 minutes ago.
Stopped counting at 10. Now I can’t log back in.

Did you want to save money so you shut down 50% of your servers? How is this even possible!? I guess Anet is having vacation around Christmas.. and the lags will probably not be fixed before that.

If we even get a reply before Christmas I’ll be surprised.

And the lag is back right now.
Impossible to play and will probably be for about 6-7 more hours.

Having freeze lags for 2-3 minutes now without dc. The game kind of just fast-forward x20 and when it’s back in sync there’s another freeze lag.

Seriously. I’ve had enough of this now. I’ve been experiencing major lag since you released Silverwastes. I can’t play during the evenings and it’s only GW2 that I have any issues with.

I can’t believe that you’re not treating your player base better.
I buy A LOT of gems but I won’t buy another gem until this is solved. I’m so tired of this now and after 3300 hour spent in your game, always defending it and talking good about it, it’s now time to do something else during the evenings when this is totally unplayable.

I think everyone else out there that is affected by this should do the same thing.
I haven’t played WvW, or dungeons in the evenings since this started. Because it’s just not possible.

Sometimes I can’t even reconnect to the game for 60-90 minutes.
I’ve tried port 80 and like 10 repairs.

I play on Far Shiverpeaks and live in Sweden.
Had game freeze up for like 5 minutes sometimes, but the chat still worked..
Dc 7-8 times / hour is not unusual during prime time.. Lucky if I even can get back in that night if logged out…
