Do you still hate the Desert BL after patch?

Hello Folks,

Nothing is more humorous than capturing, building, then using a trebuchet in the enemy north camp to hit the inner wall of their garrison. Then finally to see them respond with 30 to 40 mindless group while only having 8 people at most.
In the eyes of the mindless mob, those few who dare are referred to as pugs in some cases. I refer to them as the Independents, and they can make the difference.
Prior to the current changes the DBL’s had chokes, better cover and interesting places for siege due to the terrain. With the removal of the terrain it made it far less interesting as the “gates” are still there and serve no purpose and is completely backwards.
Previously the terrain it made it interesting by making one consider routes for either offense or defense regardless of being alone, a havoc or a zerg. Which I will only just mention the falling buff is excellent as it adds its own element.
Removal of terrain, is great for mindless mobs <cough> EB </cough>. Terrain is great for those who think on the move and consider their methods of attack and retreat as needed. Barriers can work both ways, but do not delay large groups or zergs much <humor> unless they all have sacrificed power for condition </humor>.

Hello Folks,

Generally games are created to run on as many machines as possible. Which is why developers like reported system information by used by clients.
Going to a solid state drive reduces load and transition times. Using one also leaves far more game time while mobile for WiFi usage, which becomes the largest power consumption as platters are no longer consuming battery power.
Upgrading the amount of installed RAM is also a good way to save power if one cannot acquire a solid state drive, as there are less chances of paging being needed. As needed/required depending on the configuration/build of course.
I will be pulling my laptops solid state drive and re-installing my old 5400 rpm hard drive, as I will be benchmarking the IOPS performance using a volatile L1 cache and a semi-persistant L2 cache on it. Please note it’s all I could afford at the time and not interested in the Intel/AMD discussions or flames, my post is assist other GW2 players. I acquired a AMD A6-3400M based Gateway laptop a few years back. Which will be used using the drive caching method I use on my desktop that works very well.
Caching a hard drive, or any drive for that matter has eyebrow phenomenal results which I will not post here. So don’t be to hasty to toss out those “old” drives yet. I will merely suggest doing a web search on “PrimoCache”.
Reading on a smaller display with 1080p might difficult initially, so I merely suggest enable font scaling else increase system font sizes used.

Hello Folks,

Yes, you did read it correctly. If you got a group of friends that you run with..? And you want lead them, then their yours to command. Be it in WvW, PvE or PvP.
Feel as if you got an elite squad? Want or need more freedom to run together..?
Need a change from being in a huge Guild, or need a change up..?

Yes, we also accept multi Guild Membership so that you do not have to relinquish our place in another Guild.

Are you a Lone Wolf type..? Got an occasional situation that requires assistance in Dungeons..? Trading goods for crafting services..?

We have been playing Guild Wars 2 for about two years. We have Guild Armorer. We are a registered Guild. We have a minor Guild Stash that serves as an Exchange. We have a Ventrilo server for Guild Members.

We have been persistent while other Guilds have come and gone.

Yet we continue on MIL is a Division of Militia Joint Operations. We started our foundation back in 2001 and have a few players that play various games on PC.
We have a Member’s Only FB page, and a site is been in development that will also have a Forum also.
In a couple of days I will be shipping out a couple of video cards. In a few months I will be also shipping out a motherboard also. These will go to Guild Members that I have known or played with for several years.
There is a possible consideration of some hats that will have our “logo” on them. So yeah, we’ll have our own “swag”. I have my own Commander’s Compendium.

It’s about fun, friendship and unity.

My thought is doesn’t matter, but what you enjoy playing is the most important. Things might have changed or change. But playing with a group who works together to help each other while having fun is important in my honest opinion this is where a Guild should be of importance.
We craft so that we can assist by making better gear and equipment for each other.
I have several “character’s” with a range of profession’s.
So feel free to contact me ingame, and if you have any friends returning also join me and join us. We have a Ventrilo server for use also. Having new people and friend’s bring so much more to the game regardless where their from or timezone.
Myself and my buddy are in the US, him in the EST while I’m PST. We’ve have known each other since 2001, and also play a few other multiplayer online games on PC.
:D

We have Crafter’s that can assist making better gear and equipment for Guild Member’s.
This is an important Service we do to support each other to better assist each other in Our quest at becoming Stronger.

I have seen Guild’s come and go, but we remain dedicated to the Guild and each other. Should a Guild Member have freinds elsewhere feel free to have them join you with us here. We are more than happy to have dedicated Raider’s for any occasion be it PvP/WvW for example. If you bring them, they are yours to Lead.

We have a Ventrilo Server for Guild use. TZ is not an issue, and actually would be nice to have Guild Member’s from another TZ or Region.

Hello Folks,

I don’t answer to you or anyone else on Teamspeak. You want to boot people from channels, fine but don’t expect anyone to join an Alliance with you and the way you conduct yourself. I was on for hours with Kitty and others before you joined the channel.

Thank You,
