We are arguing and complaining, slitting some throats, but where the kitten is Anet? You need to calm your player base asap, because the majority is freaking out. Give us a real reason why you did this, because the reason your provided is a crappy one.

You guys were more responsive during the intensive development of the game before its release than you are now… for the love of god answer us BEFORE the 15th, because as it stands… many of us are VERY unhappy and I know you can see that.

Wow, I have been defending you guys all day and you present this to us… it’s gear progression any way you slice it and if I wanted that, I would go to a game that is doing it better. You can’t put these kinds of things in the game, you are going tick off the majority of players that are STILL supporting you while the ones claiming to have nothing to do… are off playing something else.

You know why people are hitting the Legendary wall? Because they look amazing for the most part and you should be so happy that people want them that bad (Despite them having NO statistical advantages). You should be striving to make cooler looking gear, not better gear, so people can sink their teeth into it.

I am going to play, but you have lost a lot of respect from me for going so heavily back on your word and manifesto. No matter how small of a stat difference it is… it is still gear progression and a gateway to something you might ruin your game with. You can’t please everyone and you have to accept that; you are trying something that other games just simply do better and you should strive to be different.

Agony is a terrible idea and it isn’t an original concept… you should know better guys, come on, you’re smarter than this : /.

I would like to leave on a positive note though. I think you are doing great with your release of content and I have enjoyed it thus far. I have no doubt this will be a great patch (Aside from what I posted before.)

It would be nice to have a Dev comment on this, so we aren’t picking up our torches and pitchforks, ready to defend the GW2 a lot of players love.

I share everyone’s concerns and I am going to wait patiently on this before really blowing up, but you have worded this in a way that screams “Gear treadmill.”, so for the love of the six gods… do this right or you are going to lose a lot of players and bring the ones you don’t want back to the game.

Listen, making the precursor easier to obtain doesn’t remove the amount of grinding you will have to do to make it into a Legendary. So what if nearly all the people have one? They still have to do the biggest part of the grind to make it into a Legendary; which most people refuse to even do and a lot of people give up on long before they even get to the part of actually needing the precursor.

As it is, NONE of the Legendaries are Legendary in status… the vast majority of players look at people with a Legendary and actually mock them behind their back about how they had their guild buy/help get the mats or they succumbed to RMT/Exploit and the actual accomplishment of getting the Legendary isn’t even that great because the biggest part of the grind is the mats (Even more so than the Karma grind.) This sucks because even if you get the thing by yourself… haters are gonna hate on it (For a good reason.) because more than half the “Grind” is about how much money you have, not how great your accomplishments are.

And for those claiming it is fine, wake the h*** up… these aren’t Legendaries right now; they are jokes that require a lot of money that look cool. Works great if you are a troll, but the fact we saw Legendaries in less than a month means it is broken right now. Making the precursor easier to obtain is only but a fraction of the issue, but now it is too late to make it into something worth bragging about because now you have people who have already grinded most the mats (Myself included) and most of them are going to be up in arms against any changes.
