Thank you! I ran out and bought Guild Wars 2 due to this announcement… 22% downloaded. Hopefully it’s playable on my Mac if not consider my $ a donation to support games on OS X. Cheers.

I would suggest opening Finder and navigating to your user folder>>Hold down Alt/Option and click Go in your menu bar>>Library(it will only show if you hold alt)>> Application Support>>In here there should be a folder called Guild Wars 2, make a copy of it on your desktop, just in case, and then delete it from the folder.
Try running GW2 again and hopefully it will try and rebuild this folder. Potentially solving your issue.(I realise your mac isn’t in English, so the Go option in the menu bar might not be called Go? but you’ll have to figure that out yourself xD).
