Just noticed that equipping 2 pets (namely Black Widow Spider and
Jungle Spider) with “Paralyzing Venom” if you use it on one pet it will also be on cool down on the other pet after swaping.
Not sure this is expected, because each pet should have his own cooldown… as it does if they don’t have the same F2 skill.
I was about to say that I am in the map for 1 hour and I can see that it’s still the case… But since this bug has been reported 11 month ago… why should I bother…
Well found out about the maize balm and actually bought the recipe to make them last week for 8 gold!!! It’s not worth it anymore obviously… but that’s only partially why I write here.
I think they nerfed it the wrong way because the recipe was already time gated to 1 per day.
So what AN really should have done was reduce the drop rate of the balm from ToT because with enough people farming the balm it was actually self sustaining when you had 10 followers:
1 balm would generate 9×10 ToT bags which according to the drop rate study would result in about 4 balms distributed amongst the followers.
Essentially if the only/main source of Maize balm was through the recipe there wouldn’t be a farm because of the time gating and the cost would be representative of the ingredients required to make it and the potential income.
Did I miss something?
third one in a reactor in a cave….
What would be extremely nice though would to be able to see the pet’s cooldowns and if it would use the slash skill in priority as soon as it is available again, I could then eventually think about timing it right by lauching the trap 2-3 secondes in advance of the end ot the cooldown.

I tried it a bit more and well it’s pretty random misterdevious is probably right from what I saw, but having the drake appear at the exact distance for it to make the slash be the first used skill is just like rolling dice for me.
I also tried to launch the trap as soon as I see the drake animation of tail slash but it is too fast for the trap to be launched and detonated.

Welcome to ranger extra effort for minimal effect.
Also don’t yet get into the timing habit yet for blasting fire trap, the proposed trap changes will have you need to relearn the timing.
Well yes kind of heard about it, would make this type of combo even harder to control I guess.
Does any ranger out there actually managed to control tail slash as a combo blaster,
since the only other blast is the one from “call of the wild”?
Hello all,
I was trying to search for combos that could be performed using pets on my ranger main. (took me two years just to think about it…)
Essentially I was thinking of using a fire trap with the drakes forth skill (tail swipe) as a blast finisher.
Unfortunatelly it’s pretty uncontrolable since:
1. well you have to drag your target and pets into the field and
2. you have to convince/train your pet to use it’s forth skill in a timely manner.
I guess 1. is doable with some skill
unfortunately those drakes would require quite some training to understand that if a trap is set, it should reposition itself into the trap and hold skill 4 until the trap is detonated by the enemy to make the combo.
So my suggestion is would it be a possible improvement in the pet’s AI or could we have one of the drake have skill 4 replacing skill 1 so we could at least once the pet engage the enemy aim the trap in the melee and fire the combo.
Comments or ideas welcome of course…
p.s. Actually to make this more clear the idea is not to make the ranger more powerfull then it is currently.
But rather to introduce a bit more synergie with your pet, which would be a nice way to render the ranger gameplay even more interesting.

Hello all,
I would really like to have more informations about this.
So we are talking about all the unspent skill points, right.
To say the truth RNG wasn’t really my friend during the hours played in game but I didn’t really mind because I currently have 500 slot skills points on my main and 200-300 on several alts totaling over a thousand on my main account.
I see they can be used to buy several things from Myani including materials to build legendary and ascended weapons or promotion material.
Anyway I was happy having them stack up like this because they don’t really use up any inventory space also I don’t have to calculate how many of each I need to craft this or that weapon, which I might need if I do get a prec in the future.
I would really like you to tell us what would be our best options here.
So please give us more info on the refund process because those skill points represent much fun (can’t say work) and although I am happy for a change in the skill system I really would like to not loose what I consider my most important wealth in game. So please explain as much as possible about the transition so we can make an educated decision.
