Guild Wars 2

It came back up after about 30 minutes.. just randomly started.

Also the guesting to another server is a good idea, however the tutorial quest i learned is a multi-server instance anways so its possible to wind up in the same one.

Just thought I’d let you know me and about 10 others were stuck on the opening Sylvari quest when you cross over the bridge and have to kill the Nightmare Hounds. The first wave spawns and we killed them, then no others spawned. I waited for about 10 minutes but nothing. Sad because 1 guy had just came back from a long hiatus and this is what he was met with.

Please fix!

Update
So i just went and tried random thing and it worked. Changed name of installer file to GW2.exe. Client opened immediately and went to login screen. WTF?!?!?

Update

So i uninstalled the installer. Then reinstalled. Now i double click and it pauses like its about to load but nothing happens. I think try to double click the icon again and now i get the dialog box as seen before. I press Ctrl + alt+ Del and look and its no in applications but GW2Setup is running in processes but i dont see the physical application. I try to delete the file from the download folder and it says cant be deleted because it is in use by Guild Wars 2 Game Client. Very confused now. Its almost as if its running in the background somewhere. Still need help.

There is no error message just a dialog box as follows

“Installation Cannot Be Completed. Please Contact Support”

Thats all it says.

Yea ive tried right clicking and chose Run As Administrator that didnt work and i have tried disabling Antivirus. Still same error.

ESET NOD32 Antivirus

I just purchased the game today. Hit the download button on the site and went to open the GW2setup and when i double click it asks for permission. I hit yes then it comes with a popup saying Guild Wars 2 in header following by “Installation Cannot Be Completed. Please Contact Support” I submitted ticket w Game Advisor but dont understand what i could be. I would like to be able to get my money back if I cant even install the game. Any advice would be appreciated.
