Guild Wars 2

So there are 3 phases to the start of the game:
1) game is about to begin
2) game is starting in 10s
3) game has begun

When you talk to the snowman to change classes, sometimes it reverts back to another class on progression to the next phase. Sometimes this reversion only happens when you jump down from the platform. It’s caught be off guard a few times when I think I’m a support and then find out i’m a heavy when I’m halfway across the map.

It doesn’t happen all the time though. Its very sporadic, but not exactly a rare occurrence. Maybe happens to me 50% of the time.

Would love it if a fix could be made for it!

Just want to say thanks to the staff involved in making this mini-game. I’ve had so much fun playing it, even more than wvw! There’s just so many different strategies you can try out and each round is always different and exciting.

I wish this could be made a permanent game, maybe listed under spvp or something. I doubt it will, but i’m going to enjoy it while it’s here!

Reality: statistically each server has players with skills that follow some sort of bell curve

Perception: Our +2SD players beat their -2SD players, thus our server/guild/squad is better than yours forever and we win Guild Wars 2

Solution: Keep this thread civil and the above point in your mind. Guild Wars 2 has been known to have a great, helpful and friendly fan base and lets try and maintain that! I really do believe that like a lot of other things in life, skill takes practice and practice takes time. So when someone is saying ’I’m more skilled than you’ what that really translates to is ‘I put in more time in this game than you’ — and given that some people can only play this game for so many hours, is that really something to boast about? Give that some thought.

tl;dr: be nice to each other, we’re all humans on the other side of your screen and we have feelings. When you say something it affects someone else, and making other people feel bad isn’t something to be proud of. I hope we can make an example for other servers and keep this thread positive, funny and enjoyable for everyone

I believe anet has a good reason to stop people from posting specific player information. Just because the majority of people may believe something doesn’t make it true.

There’s been instances of pitchforking on big sites like reddit which in the end turned out badly because it was all a misunderstanding or something, but in the process ruined someone’s life.

If you believe something is happening then submit it to anet. Posting specific player information on the forums is really not the appropriate avenue to turn to.

Getting a little sick of seeing so many Mesmers …awesome in roaming and zerg play.

As someone with a level 80 mesmer, I don’t think you have actually played a mesmer in wvw. They are squishy and difficult to play in zerg fights.

In havoc squads mesmers are pretty good though, along with thieves. So i’ll give you that.

As I understand, your color in Season 1 was predetermined based on ranking. What do you guys think about making color assignment random in Season 2?

It would make it a bit easier for those wanting map completion. For some servers, its near impossible to capture certain areas.
