Guild Wars 2

I recently started an Engineer. After a few hours I tried looking for a more… different build since so far and from what I’ve seen most Engineers are grenade chuckers. Not a lot of players mixing up Elixers with Turrets so far, unless I’m not seeing a lot of Engineers being played.

So I’m looking for a build that’s not tossing grenades from a bottomless bag. I’m interested in a P/P + Turret or a P/P + Elixer, but mostly the former. Can anyone suggest something for an engineering newbie? The hybrid abilities of Engineers I find fantastic but the sheer number of possibilities feel daunting. Thanks.

Just a while ago my PC crashed while downloading the Lost Shores update. After the patcher tried the archive check it decided to redownload the entire kitten thing, all 200k of it. I decided to delete the game, reinstall from the disk and just redownload the updates.

I was wondering if the -repair command line would work even if the client has decided to redownload the entire game, or it would be faster to reinstall from the disks and redownload patches every time this happens.

Yes it’s really kitten annoying.
