Heya, just noticed something.
I bought the digital deluxe through the gemstore before HoT. Now I have the option to buy it again for 2000 gems. Thought this may be a bug, because I was unable to purchase it again after buying it once.

I have a friend, who has done só much for me, but she is really poor. She also lives on the other side of the world. I want to give her HoT as a present, because she can’t afford it.
But, I want to do it in a way that she won’t notice. I just want her to log into the game, and notice something is off. And then she notices she has HoT!!
Is there some way to upgrade her account without her knowledge? She really wants the game, but I wanna surprise her, and not just dump her with a code, or give her the money…

I also bought the 99 euro one, and I’m happy.. Reading all the crappy comments on fb and here almost made me regret my decision.. But people are just really forgetting a lot of things the game offers.
For example: An argument is that there will be only 1 new class. But that’s wrong. We will get a specialization for every class, meaning that we will get more ‘classes’ than we begun with at the start of gw2. Also, the specializations are probably gonna expand, with more than 1 per class.
And also, we’re probably gonna get another Living Story, with free updates every week for, who knows, 2 years or so. So 99 euro’s for this is money well spent imo

Okay, so I was walking around in the human home instance, and I entered this house at the Cottage Bend POI. Once you walk up one floor, Josir is standing there.. Only there are two of them standing at the exact same spot, but moving at different times.. Just a little bug I guess, but I thought I’d post it here anyway See picture attached

I already sent a support ticket, but I just want to know if this has happened to anyone else..
I opened a black lion chest a while ago, and I got a Black Lion Claim Ticket. I was really happy, cause I didn’t get a scrap for once, but a whole ticket. I went to the vendor, but all weapon skins were 3 or 5 tickets, so I put it in the bank. So today, after the patch, I went to the bank to see if I could use my ticket to get one of the new weapon skins, and my ticket was gone. Instead, I had a ticket scrap next to my stack with 2 other ticket scraps. I’m 100% sure i got a ticket, and I would’ve stacked it if that was possible.
So has this happened to anyone else?

Thanks for the reactions. There isn’t a option to report this, as far as I know of, so I made a ticket of it. I hope I’ll hear back from them soon, and I hope this won’t happen too often. It’s really annoying if you just want to enjoy some pvp.

I don’t know if i posted this right, I’m kinda new to the forums..
So today i wanted to play some pvp, and this ranger shows up, saying that if we don’t give her 1gold each, we will lose. When we didn’t give her the 1gold each, she just went to places and started dancing. Needless to say, we did lose. Is there a way to report this? And under what?
Of course I made some screenshots of this.

Did you go to the black lion armorsmith? In every main town, near the tradepost, there is a black lion armorsmith, and if you talk to him, you will get your outfits back.

Yup, I’m also able to get into the game now! Glad that this is fixed now

I guested to another world. Was able to play again, but within 5 minutes Gw2 kicked me out again..

I have the same problem now.
Found this thread where they resolved it, but I dont know what the hell they were doing :( The do describe it. Maybe some of you can figure this out. )

“The problem has been solved.
I held two email interchanges with tech serv.
The first I was suggested to add a /clientport 80 command to the shortcut target line. This would not provide any sensible distinction on the problematic behaviour.
Then I was invited to add a -repair command to the shortcut target line.
This proved to be effective. Since then I have done all sort of activities and no issue was present at any time. Everything loads just fine.
This, and the patch from Aug the 7th, has been the solution for the problem consigned on this thread.

PD. Before the -repair thing, i was able to recover my unretrievable character by the means of guesting in the character selection screen. After changing worlds, the character loaded without problems.”
