/agreed – deleting my characters isn’t a viable option to play with my guild mates. We need a better solution please.
At the start of sPvP games my signets aren’t applying any buffs. I first noticed on Signet of Shadows when I was not moving at the indicated 25% increased speed. switching these out and back again seemed to fix the issue. So far I’ve only noticed this issue in sPvP.
Is your server doing well in WvW for the gatherer buff?
Anyone else having this problem? 2 of my team mates had this issue on the same tournament game and caused us to loose a winning match. Bump for visibility.
Just like the title says. It started happening after this recent build on Friday. The first time it happened was 8 min after WvW reset (which was an hour late). I sat at loading screen after clicking on the waypoint for about 5 min knowing that there would be a 4+ hour queue to get back into the zone. Every consecutive time after that it has happened in sPvP when trying to raise postmortem. I can hear combat and game sounds when this happens and the only option I am left with is alt f4.
I found this thread from a month ago that was closed because the issue was supposedly resolved.

The (minimal) healing gear with the signet heal on damage dealt and the trait that heals you on initiative used with LDB spam is a pretty stupid amount of personal healing. For solo Orr farming and zone completions the build worked extremely well.
I agree with you that 15k isn’t a whole lot of health but I’ve got to make a sacrifice somewhere. This new build has a few condition removal tools as is and the toughness is more for direct damage mitigation from zerg AoE spam. I imagine/hope that I’ll have more health running around with food buffs and mixing/matching full exotics. Number crunching to see exactly how much Toughness/Precision/Vitality I’m going to have with a full PvE/WvW set is currently numero uno on my list of things to do.

A little background – I’m currently set up as a d/d toughness/condition/healing build but it’s not doing me much good in WvW lately where I have shortbow equipped 90% of the time. I started playing around with build editors and sPvP for testing and this is what I’ve come up with so far. I’m hoping to keep a good amount of toughness and 15k minimum hp because I’m not a fan of glass builds. The idea here is to stack up on precision for cluster bomb unloading when zergs collide and be able to take a few hits while doing it. Any constructive criticism would be appreciated.

I don’t have anything new to add that hasn’t been said but I feel like I need to add my voice to the masses. Magg going through to get the Magmacyte is pretty flawed at the moment. The immobilize from the oozes and not being able to fight them because of the extinguisher is a recipe for failure. Add that to the fact that Magg can’t stay alive for more than 3 seconds means this part of the quest is the source of a lot of my current frustration with the changes. I agree with the OP that this should have been tested prior to launching on a live server. Maybe the fact that you can’t get another extinguisher to go raise Magg after your party dies would have been found sooner and I would have my gold in repairs back.
PTR testing the kiting event would have been a good idea too. And I call it the kiting event because it’s exactly that. A kiting event. No new player in a pug group is going to be able to put out the dps necessary to actually kill those mobs. Not going to happen. I’m a thief with 20 points into the Toughness tree and I get mauled by the thief mobs for 12k in one hit. One hit. And then there’s the bleed damage. There isn’t any way possible an unorganized pug group in yellow trading post or crafted gear is going to be able to kill all those mobs while avoiding the massive amount of damage they put out. Period.

Just like the title says. I’m getting the completion animation with the lion shield, two crossed swords and the option to pick a quest reward. I get the item reward just fine but my experience bar doesn’t move at all when I click accept. I saw the yellow flashing number above my head of the exp I was supposed to get but did not get any experience credit. This is the third time I have noticed this.

Quest: Personal Story – Temple of the Forgotten Gods
On the part where you need to interact with the stones to summon and defeat the mesmer NPC. Once defeated, you are supposed to pick up an item and interact with a Temple Orb with the item in your hand. On the second Temple Orb a group spawned on me with the item in my hand and I began to fight them with it. During the fight, them item disappeared, just like any items you might pick up and use around that world that seem to break. The problem is that I can’t interact with the Temple Orb without the item in my hand and I can’t interact with the stone again to fight the mesmer NPC to get another item. I checked the area I was fighting in to see if the item dropped and I can confirm with absolute certainty that it did not. I also checked the level below in the hope that it fell through the floor with no luck.
