Sometimes I think lesbians are less taboo, because of bunch of men who watch lesbian porn and their dreams that are not going to happen – Then it seems to me like we’re under some kind of their dictatorship. We still have a long way before us, sadly.

As far as why it’s less taboo, that goes a long, long way back. Even biblical references explicitly define only gay male relationships as contemptible in Leviticus, mentioning nothing of women. Some would argue two of the thing you like is often better than one as well :P

Old habits are hard to break, I guess. My philosophy is that it’s none of my business to care to interject on another’s preferences so long as such relationships are responsible ones and all parties understand and the significance of intimacy and agree with it.

Additionally, on the first Sylvari Personal Story for choosing the Green Knight, Bercilak challenges a male Sylvari to a duel while his ‘beloved’ (who is another male) is standing there to watch in horror as his mate is killed:

Dagdar: Help! Somebody help me! The brute is killing my beloved. Stop him!
<Character name>: What? Where! Show me!

Dagdar: Please! Enough. Victory is yours. Just let him live!
Bercilak: Live! Ha! This sapling accepted my challenge and failed. His life is forfeit.
Eladus: Please, Dagdar. Go, and leave me. He’ll kill you too, if you stay.
Dagdar: You’re a monster, Bercilak. I won’t let you do this! I won’t live without my beloved.
Bercilak: So be it. As Ventari teaches, “Hard ground makes stronger roots.”

So, we do have one ‘clear’ gay couple in the game, but beyond Dadgar and Eladus, I don’t recall seeing any other clear gay couple.

Both Female Norn, Male and Female Asura are a subject to the bug, at the moment. Can we at least have some proper adress to the problem?

I am Meridian Puppeteer, a guy from Greece and I happen to be an aspiring composer.
I happened to go through the OST of Super Adventure Box since it was April Fool’s a few days ago and I fell on the Dark Woods 2 theme which was my favourite from all the tracks and I remember it very well when that ‘dungeon’ was released, so I decided to try and drag it away from the 8-bit and instead rearrange it with some baroque instruments which are two Harpsichords and an Oboe!

Honestly, -please- do something about these issues. Don’t ignore us again, you’ve been ignoring us for -far- too long, Anet…

I’ve been RPing in this game for 2 years now and I can honestly say that out of 5 years of RPing, GW2RP has been by far the most enjoyable. I’ve had tons of fun creating my character and using the lore of the game to just make the stories in my head reality, but honestly?

First, it was the enormous Emote range issue which is extremely annoying and hasn’t been fixed since the day it was implemented.

Then came the Megaservers. I won’t even mention the chaos it created amongst RP Guilds. People asking to Taxi each other from one shard to another, looking for -hours- for spontaneous RP, the diffirent Server Shards making Public RP Events a living -hell-. It killed a huge amount of the RP community, making them go to other MMOs where such type of thing didn’t really exist.

After that, you took away our Town Clothes. “Oh my god, relax, it’s just town clothes, you can find something else to give your character to wear or whatever.” No, it doesn’t go like this. I think you can at least imagine how much of a pet peeve it is for Heavy Armor characters to not have -anything- casual to wear, and when they do, it’s those ‘Outfits’ where customization is less than limited. The Immersion was trampled.

And now, after -all- these stuff we have this new.. ‘plague’ called Name Duplication, or whatever. Not only did we have all these problems I mentioned earlier, now we are forced to see the spam get even bigger and the eyesore intensify. If you wanted to make the names clickable, you could have easily made it without duplicating the name. So, if it’s not a bug, for me it seems you just did it on purpose so you will actually poke the RPers with a stick. Having seen both RP Guilds and PvE guilds, I will say that the RPers spend A LOT more Gems than the PvErs do, mainly because we will do anything for the appereance of our characters. So, basically, after giving you all this money, you practically spat on our faces.
I don’t feel ‘sad’ nor hurt. I feel offended. I literally feel as if the Developers gave us the Middle Finger.

Anyway, the thing is, if you -can’t- revert the changes or make them optional for whatever reason, at least tell us -why- you did this change. Give us a solid explanation we have to go through this as well. And congrats to the OP for expressing the thoughts of the most part of the RP community.

I’ll talk about myself there cause I can’t say what everyone thinks.
Scarlet didn’t make me hate her because of her actions. Scarlet made me hate her because she is a lore-breaking character, Overpowered to the max. She just appears out of nowhere, does whatever the kitten she wants and then disappears just like that, in a blink of an eye.
She makes me hate her because of her bad writting and I don’t want to ‘rise against her’ I want her to get the kitten off this once beautiful game and let me enjoy a -reaally- good Living Story and not something I can only get and accept as joking and mocking the community.

So today I completed the map for the straits but it din’t give me any rewards…
There was only a waypoint to grasp and when I did the treasure box didn’t appear. I checked my map and it said 100% for the area. The temple of Balthazar is contested but I don’t suppose that this has something to do with it…
Is this supposed to happen ? ._.

Were you able to click-target other objects/players?

There’s currently a bug where players can end up unable to target anything, and we’re trying to figure out if this is just coming up more frequently when fighting the Shadow Behemoth or if it’s a separate bug only related to the Shadow Behemoth. Thanks!

I could target every other player and foe in the swamp except anything relevant to Shadow Behemoth including his Portals and Itself…Glad you are looking into it and keep up the good work

Server : Piken Square

The Shadow Behemoth appeared today.
The first thing I found weird is that the events that should trigger it did not appear.
He just spawned there…
At the start I tried attacking the portals but nothing…Not even AoE attacks could destroy them.
Then more people came and we tried to destroy them together but still nothing.

Then someone said that the Rotting Oakheart is up. So we went to kill it because it is said that Behemoth can’t be Spawned the same time with the Oakheart. When we killed it we went back to the Behemoth to see if it worked but it was still Untargetable.

Though we can’t attack him he can kill us as usual.
The event triggered some days before and it was just fine. Maybe the morning patch has to do something with it ?

I am waiting for an answer, and thanks for your time.

On the 7th day of Wintersday the Asura gave to me

And a partridge in the Pale Tree!

As a Sylvari Elementalist I don’t know if snow would be a good idea on The Grove ._.

Indeed…And it’s quite troublesome when Group Events appear (like the Champion Risen Hylek in Caledon Forest and the Champion Ooze in Metrica Province) and there is no one near to help you ._.
