I have experienced this bug as well.

World: Isle of Janthir

I have attempted to do it 3 times in a party – no success.

I have restarted client and went in solo, without skipping cinematics and custscenes and it has worked!

Update:

The 10/1 build should reset players who skipped forward back to the “Choose your order” step (which varies by race), though it’s a code-side change so I don’t know any details beyond that.

I know you said you don’t know any further details, but the wording has me slightly concerned.

My story has skipped (from 30 to 48), but I continued playing and am now on lvl 80 storyline quest. When you say will reset back to choosing the order… You mean I will have to redo 40 levels worth of storyline? (I don’t particularly mind, but just curious).

Thank You

Account name: Metal Wing.7426
World: Isle of Janthir
Character name: Metal Wing
Story: They Went Thataway (is the last entry in my log)
Organization: Order of Whispers
Skipped to: Suspicious Activity (48)

The thing that bothers me the most is the fact that I do not have the banner for joining the order. I was doing these quests together with my fiancee, however, her storyline seemed to be fine (screenshot attached). She was promoted from Initiate to the Agent of the Order of Whispers and now has the banner unlocked at character select screen. In my case, I cannot reroll (lvl 50) and am missing that reward…

Constantly low FPS (AMD/nVidia)

Hello,

While I realize that this may be a duplicate post to this (and I already submitted my DxDiag there), but I thought I would ask this separately anyway.

I have a quad core AMD Phenom ~2.2Ghz, 8GB RAM with a single GeForce GTS 450

I have 200gb space free, computer after startup uses up only ~2GB RAM. All CPUs are fine.

I have attempted using the following drivers:

  • 296.10
  • 301.xx
  • 304.xx beta
  • 306.xx beta

Unfortunately that did not result in any performance change what so ever. Regardless of the drivers, regardless of the in-game settings, regardless of the setup in the nVidia control panel – I am maxing out at 15 FPS in Lion’s Arch, 33 FPS in explorable areas and down to ~8 FPS as soon as a big event comes by.

I am wondering if it is really my video card? CPU? Do I need a new machine or could this be an unresolved issue? I have been playing Skyrim on Ultra in full resolution without problems. Not sure if it is reasonable for me to expect at least 30 FPS from GW2…

Any help is appreciated. Perhaps any specific setup of nVidia controls that may help?

Thank You

Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
AMD Phenom Quad-core ~2.2GHz
8GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450

My game is at a constant 30 FPS (Regardless of graphic settings). Whenever an intense event begins, my frame rate goes down to about 12-15fps. Playable, but kind of upsetting, considering I can run Skyrim on Ultra without any fps issues x-x DxDiag attached.
