Ah sorry, Piaskowy, you beat me to my post. I understand how it could be interpreted that you would only receive the Red or Pink dye if you bought the pack, but honestly when I read that news post I assumed it would be the range of Red hues.

If this is the Lava dye you received it looks pretty red to me.

Were you expecting the actual dye named Red and the actual dye named Pink?

Discussion on "hard PvE"

I always treated Magic Find gear as the PvE hard mode. Wearing it will impact your effectiveness but at the same time reward you for taking a handicap. Granted, Magic Find gear will also affect the effectiveness of your team indirectly as well so in a way it’s forcing a “Hard Mode” on any group you’re playing with as well. Whats more is that if you don’t tell your team mates you’re wearing Magic Find gear they won’t know they’re being handicapped through you.

What if, when you are in a town like Lion’s Arch you could get a blessing that would switch you to Hard Mode. This blessing will last forever until you get it removed in Lion’s Arch again. The Hard Mode blessing will give you a significant increase in Magic Find but also a significant decrease in your stats to make the game more challenging. On top of that your character is visually changed to let everyone else know you are in Hard Mode. Let’s say you could have an icon floating over your head or a unique aura, or weapon effect. This would then let other players know that you’re in Hard Mode which would be part bragging rights for the person in Hard Mode and part warning to anyone who wants to team with them knowing they are handicapped.

Just a suggestion, what do you think?

I really enjoyed Axe/Warhorn for quite some time. The agility you would get from the Warhorn skills really complimented the quick, fast-paced attacks of the Axe.

As of last week I’ve split up the party and went Axe/Shield for my first set & Mace/Warhorn as my secondary. So far I’m enjoying them and it feels like I have a bit more survivability.

If you have Healing Surge equipped as your heal you could always use it right after you activate Eviscerate to recharge your Adrenaline back to 3 bars.

Thanks for the suggestions Wiser with Age. I like the idea of getting “Signet Mastery” for “Signet of Rage” cool down reduction. That will help me keep Swiftness up as well as keep more Boons on Me to benefit from the “Empowered” trait. I will try it out.

Help completing a Mace + Warhorn and Shout Build for PvE

Hi fellow Warriors,

I have been using the following build in PvE and I am enjoying it, but I need help rounding out what Traits I should be taking with my last 20 trait points.

http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fIQQNBJhN6E0hkHbeQKImICAIFaBW6RZslGA

This is a Mace + Warhorn build that focuses on applying Weakness on enemies. It is based on the Shouts & Warhorn set up that Yojack used in his build, however instead of a Sword I stuck with a Mace and took the “Cull the Weak” and “Sundering Mace” traits in the Defense line to up the damage I’m dishing out on the weakened targets.

My issue is that I have 20 trait points that I don’t know where to invest. Do you think it would be better dump them into the Strength line to just up my damage more? Maybe I can invest 10 points in Discipline to get the “Inspiring Shouts” or “Mighty Defenses” traits? Or I could even dump points into Arms and switch my second weapon set to Rifle and take “Crack Shot”?

I know this may not be the most efficient build, but I enjoying using it. Any help would be appreciated just keep in mind I would like to hold on to the Mace & Warhorn weapon set as my primary focus.

Thanks in advance for your help!
