Likewise. Anyone have a fix yet?

What are 3 features that you wish the most?

1 Higher stats for ascended armour.

2 Unique skills for legendaries.

3 More aesthetic customization.
Outfits in the gem store, -ability to hide shoulders on outfits- , more hair styles/skin colours/patterns/faces (even if it’s a new item to buy in the gem store to get them all)!

This. All of this, just yes. There is an endurance bar already, however, the yellow curved double bar above your health.

And 7, omg yes, please!

You can hide the helmets of many costumes. So I have changed the topic to be a suggestion to hide shoulders on costumes.

Oh yes, floating to the side is a problem, too.

Not a perfect solution obviously but you could always look for a shoulder piece from another armor set that will look good with your armor and is not so bulky. I think hiding the shoulders wouldn’t be a bad thing but it’s not likely to be a top priority so it’s the best near term solution I can think of to offer.

Unfortunately, this is for a complete costume so you can’t change anything out.

And that’s the exact reason why I’ll never buy one of these costumes… I like to be able to mix my armour sets.

But they are so cool!

Graphics have nothing to do with this topic. People are just being insulting. :/

Wasn’t being insulting… as I was quite impressed with the graphics on your PC… and to quote myself, “But I could see why you want to hide them. Hope they add the option to mix and match / hide certain parts of costumes sooner rather than later.”

I was actually being sympathetic to your post. I agree that they need a way to hide the shoulder pieces, or to at the very least correct the scaling/attachment issues.

I’m sorry I took offence! It’s just that this topic is really important to me and I didn’t want it to be overlooked.

Completely understandable. You have invested money into your PC to be able to have nice graphics and visuals, and when something is improperly implemented that messes with the visuals you prefer to see, it can be frustrating. I hope they fix this for you and the rest of the players who have a “look” that they prefer.

You could not get it more! <3

I love and want this look so badly that would buy the costume again if it didn’t have the shoulders!

The shoulders on the small model, the Asura and the large model, Norn seem to be perfectly proportionate. But even so, seeing as we can hide armor shoulders, why can’t we hide the shoulders of the costumes we pay real money – or more gold for?

Please don’t be insulting, I don’t think I should have to turn down my graphics and use a different bow just to post this. O_o Also I am referring to the size of the CHARACTER, not the size of the character model. IE: this is a female (smaller than male) with the smallest frame.

I posted this because the ceremonial plated outfit is my favourite of all looks in Guild Wars (GW1 included). I can understand why most people won’t care for this topic but is means a great deal to me! Not being able to hide the shoulders means that I haven’t found the look for my character that I have been waiting for.

The shoulders on a small character wearing the ceremonial plated outfit are enormous! They are also not entirely attached – see attachment.

Could the hide shoulders check box work for this costume, please? The hide helmet already works, which is really cool!

Thank you for the kind words.

It’s unfortunate to hear about your lack of defence for upgraded forts. Overtime, pugs will develop and learn if you get them to join your WvW guilds. Otherwise, use your team chat very well; I shouldn’t be telling you this as you already know.

It could be a lot worse (points at NSP).

Harsh … especially considering you have complemented some of our commanders.

At first I hoped that the OS/PAXA slapping contest be done elsewhere … but I was obviously silly to think that they were not so petty as to rage about each other in the wrong topic on the forums rather than speaking to each other and working out their differences intelligently. So … if they’re going make fools of themselves and make our world look divided and probably get the topic locked … I may as well enjoy the free show with some popcorn … and take screen shots for later lols.

This drama isn’t interesting at all. It’s like watching a family fight over the last piece of chicken.

Agreed. It was far more entertaining when everyone was crying about [Sekz].

EDIT: remembered to quote this time. C:

It’s not even on topic to fight each other. Perhaps we should all jump in a voice chat program and all have a nice yell at each other and then start working together against the two other servers we should have been focusing all along?

It’s pretty disappointing to see that most of the arguing on this page is between two guilds on my world. Good or bad, we’re fighting together.

That’s what I have been spending my nights doing. I log off when players start to rage about it for the third time in that night however.

EDIT: I log off at that point because you can’t help people who you have to fight to teach … and that’s not fun, and this is a game.

Northern Shiverpeaks dead?

NSP is not dead. It’s just that it seems to be a negative loop destroying all of our fight. It seems to be as simple as; a few guilds moving around but the thing that seems to hurt us most is: empty maps during certain time blocks.

The timeline looks something like this:
Fight all day to capture, lose it all at night.
Repeat.

Consequently as a whole we have no desire to hold locations when our opponents dominate our map. It makes us as a world seem to believe we have to capture and ignore defence because defence is not possible. Without putting the emphasis on defence where it should be, we end up losing what little we have and en up utterly demoralised by that. Less people log in believing it’s because we’re against superior numbers.

The only people who remain in WvW are the die hard WvWers and those who don’t care about points. So it’s a very troubled time for NSP WvW really, despite that there is no true deficiency. We just need to be reminded that our world is worth fighting for but more to the point: worth defending.
