I would love to see more clothing in the store which changes depending on the wearers culture, like the chef outfit or the wedding attire. I bought the weeding attire recently and I’ve been using it on my Norn female character obsessively, since there aren’t really any dresses which look like something a Norn would wear as part of their culture. I especially like it as it looks inspired by Saxon and Norman clothing!
As a side not to that, currently the majority of dresses or skirts are short, or have a higher hem at the front, I would really like to see some which are full length all the way around.
I really like to switch between some of the different outfits I have, but I like very different colour schemes on them so it’s annoying that changing the colour scheme on one seems to be changing all of them for me. Is that an intended feature or a bug? I would really like if the dye choices could be connected to the specific outfits, rather than be a general shared thing between them.
The real issue isn’t that they necessarily have timers, but in how they are implemented into the events.
In the case of Tequatl, what they should have done was have a somewhat generous timer for the opening of the fight until you get Tequatl down to, for example, 75% health. After reaching that initial damage race the players should have a chance to use the siege weapons to “severely injure” Tequatl, thus removing his ability to escape.
They could also use a modified version of this and have the players be able to “reset” the timer at certain health intervals by severely injuring Teq (I personally prefer this one, as it can require players to be actively involved in the event).
The problem I always had with the Dragons had nothing to really to do the difficulty level (although I do love a skill based challenge, dps races are just boring as hell when it essentially forces players into a “speed run” format or mentality); the issue I always had with the dragons was the lack of involvement in their events.
I completely agree! I think your suggestions are really something which would make the boss not necessarily loads easier but more realistic and enjoyable. I sincerely hope something like this is implemented!
I’d heard Lost & Found was going to be up 2 more days due to some bugs it had previously, apparently not!
I was just about two hand in my 2 lost and found things, right in front of the NPC as the event reset. Is there any chance there can be any hand in for that open still, as the NPCs which the items were for will just have moved Southsun Cove. They’d still want the items back, right?
8 minutes ago… You can do the finisher stuff, but everything else is done.
During a couple of the character speaking cut scenes the audio wouldn’t play for the voices. The background music was fine, but the voice audio was occasionally not being played. This happened about 2:48am GMT and only for some dialogue lines.
Thanks! The little bear is called Björn according to my friend.
I recently completed my first piece of art inspired by GW2 and I’m really pleased with it since it’s probably the best digital drawing I’ve done so far! I’m posting it here because I’d quite like some feedback on it and this forum seems like the best place for it! (:
It’s one of my friend’s characters and I drew her as a birthday present for them.
Here’s my deviantArt account if you want to check out more of my stuff, though I haven’t drawn much in recent years. http://ghostgriffin.deviantart.com/
Since Vikings respected people who were witty and sharp with their words, able to tell poetry and sagas to captivate an audience just as much as they appreciated a good warrior I find this idea fantastic! Keep them coming!
